IF THE RUMP FITS, WEAR IT! (Part 2) by Stacey Mebane
KANSAS CITY, MO – How about we summarize Part I of today’s story? Ladies, there is hope for our curves! The best place to start before we dive into the different styles and prices available in part two is to visit website www.truejeans.com. This site will help you set up a profile that can be saved, and it also allows you to select the perfect match for your body type. The prices are pretty expensive, but I will cover all of this information in a minute.
Hopefully, you’ve visited the true jeans website by now and discovered your unique, curv-a-licious measurements. In the meantime, I’m going to share my top picks for jeans I currently own. However, there’s one little problem…three of the jeans are pretty pricey, but the quality speaks for itself! I will start from the $$$$ to the $$.
$$$ – Seven for Mankind – (Not Seven that is sold in most of the department stores) – Ginger fit will accommodate most curves and the fabric actually conforms to your body. They look marvelous!
$$$ – Joe’s Jeans – Honey or Muse fit – These are my favorites because they are a sturdy denim and once again the higher end denim has a memory fabric that compliments the booty.
$$$- J Brand – All Blue Label fits – J Brand has a plain pocket, but they have the best straight leg fit for stuffing in boots and they look great with a sassy top and pumps.
*** Now, for the less pricey but they are a great fit because they are tailored for those of the hippier persuasion and I always support these brands because of the trendier style and the price is just right.
$$ – Dereon by Beyonce – DUH the fit is great, hence the bootylicious song! I have a lot of her jeans and I love them all…you can actually go down a size because these jeans are really tailored for the booty endowed!
$$ – Baby Phat – Very good price and all of the pockets are so stylish.
Quick Tips: Don’t be discouraged when you try on jeans, most clothes are not tailored around by the actual size that is on the tag, especially if they are mass produced. You really have to try them on and take note of the name of the fit and the size combination in order to find the right style for you. Beware of “teen” designers and imperfections because sometimes you have to go up one or two sizes. Happy shopping and let me know if you find any great jean fits for the low, low prices.
