Have you heard about this book?
The Mystery of 2012: Predictions, Prophecies, and Possibilities by Gregg Braden et al.
BASEHOR, KS – This is not a new book – it was published in 2007 – but the paperback version was released this year in January. I hate to admit it (since I do work in a library) but I had never heard of this book until my mom told me about it. She checked it out from the Johnson County Library and is finding it more than fascinating. In fact, she tried to give me the short version over the phone last night, which was not working by the way, and ended by saying “well, I guess I’ll have this to worry about now too.”
Did you notice I didn’t tell you anything about the book yet OR what 2012 means? That’s because I will give it to you straight from amazon.com and if you want to know more, just hop on the computer and google “2012” – you won’t believe how many hits you’ll get and how many other books are available. Now for a disclaimer – I’m not in anyway saying I believe any of this but it will definitely get your attention. Read on.
Excerpt from amazon.com:
What Will Happen in 2012? Will there be an age of awakening, a new step in human evolution, or even an end to the world we know? For years, archaeologists have known the Mayan calendar predicts this date as the end of an era on Earth. Today, more and more researchers, spiritual explorers, and even scientists are witnessing signs that 2012 will mark a critical shift in the history of our planet. Now, the leading authorities on the 2012 phenomenon present their insights about this enigmatic date.

Nice post! I like your column. Could you recommend some romance novels? I’m sort of a romance freak when it comes to publications.
