Crystal: Bloodstone rocks KC Live

The Blood Stones rocked Kansas City

R&B LEGEND BLOODSTONE RETURNED HOME TO MAKE KANSAS CITY PROUD, by Crystal Booker

KANSAS CITY – On Sunday, July 25, KC Live in the Power and Light District was packed with fans of R&B legend and Kansas City’’s own Bloodstone. The evening was perfect. And everybody came together to have a good time. The crowd was a rainbow of faces. And for that moment, we were all one. It was nice to see so many people attending the event. Young and old came out to support Kansas City’’s own. Bloodstone has been around for a long time and is considered a legend. When the group stepped on stage they proved why.

At first glance they appear to be a bunch of old men dressed nice. But, once the music starts, and they start to move, you get the feeling that everything old is new again. They still have the moves and their voices are better than ever. It was truly music to my ears. If you get the chance to see Bloodstone in concert, you should definitely go (free or not). The group will take you to the sky on a natural high. It was a 5 out of 5 star evening.

Can you tell me how to reach Bloodstone? I would like to know if they would be interested in performing at our Kansas City Variety Show fundraiser. Thank you.
