Broncos star Aqib Talib slams Chiefs.
Mass Appeal Wire Reports
DENVER — Here’s some bulletin board material for your ass: Just minutes after a Super Bowl clinching 20-18 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday, Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib trashed the “sorry” Kansas City Chiefs who had their 11-game winning streak snapped the week prior. Aqib, who starred collegiately at Kansas University, got his hands on the Lamar Hunt Trophy then lit into Hunt’s old team. When asked if the Broncos learned anything from watching tape of New England’s triumph over the Chiefs in the previous round, Aqib replied: “We ain’t look at nothing the Chiefs did — they got served. The Chiefs ain’t help us do nothing. They sorry.”

Brady, by the way, threw for 310 yards against the Broncos. But he needed 56 attempts to do so. Aqib, however, ain’t the only Broncos player to dog the Chiefs. Pro Bowl corner Chris Harris, also from Kansas University, trashed the Chiefs’ secondary on Twitter a couple years ago after KC released Brandon Flowers in a salary cap move. “Flowers cut that’s crazy chiefs must got some corners we don’t know about lol,” Harris wrote.
There’s obviously no love lost between KC and Denver.
Aqib’s snide remarks won’t be forgotten.
