LOS ANGELES — After a few days of rumination, prized free agent LeBron James has decided to take his talents to the West Coast. King James is joining the storied Los Angeles Lakers on a 4-year, $153.3 million deal. The ‘Decision 3’ was announced Sunday through James’ agency, Klutch Sports Group. This is the second time James has spurned his hometown team during free agency. If you recall, he left the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat in 2010 before returning home four years later. “Thank you Northeast Ohio for an incredible 4 seasons,” James posted on Instagram. “This will always be home.”

The King did, however, bring the championship-starved city its first world title in 52 years. Trailing 3-1 in the 2016 NBA Finals, the underdog Cavs rallied to defeat Golden State — becoming the first team in NBA history to overcome that type of deficit. “Words do not express the meaning and the feeling this accomplishment brought to the people of Northeast Ohio,” said Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert in a lengthy statement praising James.

“None of this would have happened if LeBron James did not agree to come back home and lead the Cavaliers to the promised land. LeBron is a family man, first. We wish his kids, his wife, Savannah, his mother, Gloria, and LeBron himself nothing but the best in the years and decades ahead.”

Since returning home, King James has brought more than $500 million to Cleveland’s economy. Now that he’s gone, several property owners said they’ll probably close their business.

Do you agree with James’ decision?

Will the city of Cleveland ever recover?

  4. Now the Kobe vs lebron talks will be all we hear .

As a Kobe /laker fan I can admit this is the first time basketball has made me feel happy and angry at the same time

  5. What’s the over/under on the number of times Lebron clashes with Lavar Ball?

  6. LeBron should gun for MVP and DPOY this year and get his 5th MVP and 1st DPOY award if they don’t get another star to compete for a chip. He can rest more and he can show the critics why they were wrong to give Harden’s choking bum the MVP this year.

  7. Lebron already the greatest laker

  8. can’t believe they just signed Rajon Rondo

  9. Just cancel all the BS analysis, season’s over fellas.

  10. KD ruined the NBA

  11. Warriors just sign Cousins. This is all irrelevant. It is already seal. Warriors just change the definition of superteam. Its not just 3 or 4 all stars. Its 5 all stars in their prime.

Since i already know the script cuz the NBA is beyond predictable… LA over Boston in the 2019 Finals, bet the house on it and thank me later… I said before the season, bet the house on LBJ signing with LA this off season and i was right… I knew GS was winning it all this past season and then LBJ was going to LA and that is why i didnt care for this past season… NBA = WWE… People thinking GS is a lock to win it all, hahaha please bet everyone you have on it so i can laugh when you are homeless… It makes 0 sense to have GS win it all again… Also where is all the tards that cried about how GS is the luckiest team ever and they can only win if the other team’s best player gets injured yet LBJ joins LA and those same tards are now saying GS is a lock to win it all… Make up your damn minds you stupid fucks… These people are sooo triggered that LBJ went to LA that they cant even think straight anymore… I see people saying LA wont even beat OKC or Minny or Nola or Portland, hahahaha yet just a month ago, people were saying the West is just Houston and GS… Hell after PG resigned with OKC, people said he would never win a ring there, LBJ goes to LA and now people are saying OKC is a threat to LA, hahahahaha…

  14. The NBA needs to either void Boogie’s signing or cancel next season…

  15. I feel like LeBron and Magic had this plan all along from last year trade deadline, they signed all these one year deals to prepare for next summer OR used some of them in a trade for Kawhi

  16. it’s gone be a circus LeBron finna lose the rest of that little ass hair he got on his head after this season

    2018-19 Lakers Roster

    PG – Ball , Rondo
    SG – Caldwell-Pope , Hart
    SF – Ingram , Stevenson , Mykhailiuk
    PF – James , Kuzma
    C – McGee , Wagner , Zubac

    Core:
Ball, Hart, Ingram, Kuzma, Wagner, and Mykhailiuk on cost-controlled contracts.

    Superstar:
Lebron James on a four year deal.

    Strategy:
    1) Be as competitive as possible during the 2018-19 season.
    2) Add another superstar (or two) to our existing core and superstar during the 2019 free agency.

Wow! Magic, Jeanie, and Rob have definitely turned this franchise around.
