HOLLYWOOD — “Descendants” actor Cameron Boyce has migrated to that big television studio in the sky. The Disney star, who had an “ongoing medical condition,” died in his sleep Saturday night amid complications from epilepsy. He was only 20. According to police reports, paramedics were expedited to Boyce’s residence after he suffered a seizure. But attempts to resuscitate obviously failed. Cameron was pronounced dead at the scene. The family issued the following statement: “He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.”

“The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights,” the statement continued.
“But his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother.”
In addition to “Descendants,” Cameron is also known for his roles in the hit family sitcom “Jessie” and Adam Sandler’s “Grown Ups.” Other credits include “Good Luck Charlie,” “Austin & Ally” and “Shake it Up.” The freckle-faced thespian moved on too soon. His quietus will remain a mystery.
Cameron will definitely be missed.
