Tyson Fury wins, Wilder on radar.

LAS VEGAS — On paper it was supposed to be an easy bout, a tune-up for a rematch with Deontay Wilder. But that wasn’t the case Saturday night. Tyson Fury (29-0-1, 20 KOs) suffered a pair of gory lacerations above his right eye before outlasting Swedish heavyweight Otto Wallin (20-1, 13 KOs) by unanimous decision in front of a raucous crowd of 8,249 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Wallin came in a huge underdog but it was a dogfight from start to finish. Fury, 31, prevailed 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112 in spite of his sanguinary countenance. At one point, referee Tony Weeks considered stopping the fight.

“It was a good performance. I got a good 12 rounds in,” Fury said during the post-match interview. “It was a great fight. I got cut [in the third round] on the eyelid and [it] changed the fight completely. I couldn’t see out of the eye, and there was a lot of [head] clashes.”
Look, it wasn’t pretty. But a win’s a win.
Fury has already turned his attention to Wilder.
“Deontay Wilder, I want you next, bum,” he said while standing in the ring.
Mr. Fury, be careful what you ask for.
Remember, Wilder has already knocked you on your ass………. twice!
