Wayne Edward Hodges, the Topeka Democrat Examiner, is the Editor-in-Chief of “Mass Appeal News.” Wayne, an MPA at the University of Kansas, is a legislative intern with the Kansas Senate. He also serves as internet radio host of “Mass Appeal News. “ In addition to radio, Wayne has written several political/economic/entertainment articles for the Kansas City Star, Kansas City Kansan and Kansas City Call newspapers. He is also an adjunct professor at Park University in Kansas City.
As both an MBA and scholar at St. Mary University, Wayne graduated with honors Cum Laude; and received Academic All-American honors from the “Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society” and “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities.” Wayne is both a Realtor and Real Estate Appraiser with The Metro Group, LLC. conveniently located at 1021 North 7th Street in Kansas City, KS. His professional background includes over 12 years experience in real estate appraisals, county tax assessment, mortgage lending, commercial income modeling, credit card auditing, and comparative market analysis.

A Kansas City native, Wayne owns real estate licenses in the states of Kansas and Missouri. And he’s also a distinguished member of several prestigious professional organizations which include the Newspaper Association of America, Kansas Association of Broadcasters, Mainstream Coalition, National Association of Realtors, American Planning Association, Kansas Real Estate Commission, Missouri Real Estate Commission, Kansas Secretary of State Notary Public, Kansas Association of Realtors, and the Appraisal Institute.
