RHODE ISLAND — “I’s married now!” Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are officially husband and wife. The 29-year-old Oscar winner and her better half said “I do” at the Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island on Saturday in front of 150 witnesses that included Kris Jenner, Adele, Emma Stone, Ashley Olsen and Amy Schumer. The mansion, by the way, was designed in 1894 by renowned architect Richard Morris Hunt. Speaking of design, Jennifer turned heads in a thriftless Dior gown. Cooke, a 34-year-old art dealer, donned an exemplary connubial ensemble.
Guests were treated to hamburgers and french fries at the afterparty ala Donald Trump.

Jennifer and Cooke, if you recall, were betrothed in February at an upscale French restaurant in New York. During a chinwag on Catt Sadler’s podcast in June, Jennifer labeled Cooke her “best friend.” When asked why she chose to marry his ass, the A-Lister broke it down.
“I don’t know, I started with the basics,” Jennifer explained. “How do I feel? Is he nice? Is he kind?’ It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”
