LAS VEGAS — It wasn’t on the same level as Rocky Balboa versus Apollo Creed. But it was pretty damn good. Tyson Fury, 33, defeated Deontay Wilder, 35, at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday to retain his WBC heavyweight title. Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) closed the trilogy match with a highlight-reel knockout in the 11th round. Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) didn’t know what hit him. Prior to that, both fighters took turns kicking each other’s ass. The epic bout featured a combined five knockdowns. Fury hit the mat twice in the 4th. Wilder went down in the 3rd and 10th before kissing the canvas for good in the 11th. “He caught me twice in the fourth round, but I was never thinking, ‘Oh, this is over,'” the Gypsy King recounted. “He shook me, put me down, but that’s boxing, and that’s life as well. It’s not how many times you get knocked down. You’ve got to keep fighting and keep moving forward.”

Despite the shaky 4th round, Fury was ahead on all three scorecards (95-92, 94-92 and 95-91) when the referee stopped the fight. “It was a great fight tonight,” he said. “It was worthy of any trilogy in the history of the sport. Wilder’s a tough fighter… I always said I’m the best in the world and he’s second-best.”

After getting a split draw in the first fight, Wilder has lost two straight to Fury.

  1. Tyson Fury literally took Wilder’s soul! The ego is a horrible thing if unchecked for years!!

  2. Wilder does not need any more Boxing training to beat Fury, he needs 6 months of MMA training. Fury is basically body slamming him throughout the fight, and wearing him down.

  3. Seeing Wilder get all those excuses he made smashed in his face was great. Wilder is a solid huge puncher but he can’t box. He’s so ashamed of losing like this that he’ll retire. He truly has nothing to be embarrassed about in this fight because he did fight like a warrior and I respect that part of him. I think Wilder is a good family man at heart, but he bought into his own hype. Wilder will learn a great lesson in humility after this, regardless if he fights again or not. I hope Wilder has a nice peaceful life moving forward and best wishes to his family.

  4. If boxing gets any worse, Larry Holmes will come out retirement to take on these chumps.

  5. Two heavy weights that move like welter weights give props to fury
Wilder needs to humble himself and learn some defense for his own good that way he could have waited for the bigger man to tire in the later rounds no strategy give credit to fury a good boxer

  6. “I give God the Glory He gives me the Victory!”
    -Tyson Fury

  7. Deontay looks so scary and mean during the introduction. But when you see him laying down on the canvas in the 11th he looks so peaceful

  8. Man, my heart was racing the entire fight. Truly one of the most exhilarating bouts of all time. Not a fan of Wilder but he showed incredible heart to survive Fury’s relentless onslaught for as long as he did. Fury is without question the greatest heavyweight of this era.

  9. Deontay.. fire your trainers! Your a specimen.. great athlete.. I would train you like Ali.. like Angelo Dundee would .. Bad strategy against Fury.. You can’t go toe to in the pocket with the giant.. You need to Jab , Protect, and Move..You need to work on your feet and get good angles.. You need to dance like Ali and move move move.. You need to work your jab and be patient for your powerful overhand right..Then and only then will you be champion of the world for many years.. Lennox Lewis needs to train you..

  10. putting your trust in Jesus and becoming aware that He is with you ALWAYS is life changing. be the light. Talk to Jesus.

  11. Wilder has no humility, he’s been outboxed by Fury in three fights and he still offers him no congratulations.

  12. You got knocked the fuck out craig…. I love how Wilder acted like the first knock down wasn’t shit with baby giraffe legs

  13. This is the first time I see Wilder going to his corner after the KO. He looked like a complete zombie.

  14. Mike Tyson would knock both these bums out

    sloppy as hell

looks like 2 street fighters just swinging and hoping

    what happend to real boxing

  15. I definitely got my money worth with this fight, I really wasn’t cheering for either man but had a great night with family and friends.

  16. Ladies and Gentlemen. This was a classic heavy-weight championship fight. Both fighters committed their hearts and souls out there in the ring to determine the best heavy-weight fighter in the world. Congratulations Tyson Fury. Deontay Wilder, don’t hang your head because you are a true warrior and a great fighter.

  17. I dislike Wilder for all the crap he talked about cheating but i have to give him credit for this fight, he was brave and courageous, i hope his long term brain health is ok because he took a bad beating in this fight.

  18. They allowed Fury to kneel down longer than 10 secs on the second knockdown. Boxing is crooked! Just like the government.

  19. A blessed day to you brothers and sisters. (We are all called to be family in Christ!🙂) Family, JESUS CHRIST THE LORD DIED FOR OUR SINS, HE WAS BURIED, AND HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY!🙂🔥💯 Jesus, (the SON OF GOD) LOVES US ALL! 💯🙂 Peace and love to you all in the name of the Lord Jesus!🙂

  20. So funny, so many people don’t know (jack S—–!) about real Professional Boxing! Both these guys were jokes! And furthermore, fury kept doing the old lazy cheap trick of (leaning) your body weight on your opponent to wear them down quickly and rapidly! Even using the sly headlock grabs and so forth. But also, wilder was not smart enough to even know how to avoid that cheap lazy trick, behr has (no legs!) Wilder never had legs to support himself throughout his whole boxing career! Plus, he had no real stamina, and actually neither of them had any real stamina, but at least the fury slob was able to take advantage of it anyway, especially considering that he went down twice! It was simply one of the worse heavy weight fights in history! Not even close to being anything like ( Mike Tyson & Frank Bruno!) You see…lol.

  21. That right hand of wilder is bait man. Fucking mix it up, throw a one two or something, dick head 🤣

  22. what a fucking beautiful knockout…everything about it, the final build up punches, the left hook set up followed by that wicked right hook…..the impact reaction and the fall…..beautiful stuff……and Wilder KNEW at some point during that round that was going to happen and still he stood his ground…..epic

  23. The World: “His legs was like linguine.”
    Wilder & fans: “F*** you couch, ni**a…”

  24. That boy gypsy king was looking fresh in the legs. He could have gone another 5 more rounds

  25. The ending was like a epic climax to a movie. The clear wide right swing that completely knocked out the opponent dropping him into the canvas. Amazing fight
