Then, to rub salt in the wound, Atlanta Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich had his son make a prank phone call to Shedeur — pretending to be New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis who drafted his ass. Ain’t that a bitch?
League execs leaked info, claiming Shedeur was too cocky in interviews.
One NFL assistant called his conclave with Shedeur “the worst formal interview I’ve ever been in in my life.”
But lots of arrogant quarterbacks were selected in the first round in a long list that includes Aaron Rodgers, Baker Mayfield, Josh Rosen, Zach Wilson and Johnny Manziel. General managers also knocked Shedeur’s athleticism. But he ran a faster 40-yard dash (4.68 seconds) than first-rounders Josh Allen (4.75 seconds), Joe Burrow (4.82 seconds) and Sam Darnold (4.86 seconds).
The only difference between Shedeur and the aforementioned quarterbacks is skin pigmentation.
The former is black and the latter are white.
During his appearance on “The Art of Dialogue” podcast, Dr. Umar didn’t mince words.
It’s his contention the NFL is afraid of assertive black men who come from two-parent, patriarchal households.
Instead, owners prefer Pookies raised by single moms ’cause they’re easier to control.
“The Shedeur Sanders scandal — not a scandal on his part, but a scandal on the racist NFL’s part — to me is a reminder to every black man in America,” Dr. Umar told the podcaster.
“No matter how rich. No matter how wealthy. No matter how famous. You are still a [nigger] in this society… I believe the NFL owners got together… and I do believe [unlike my brother Stephen A. Smith] that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was also involved… to embarrass, humiliate and sabotage both Deion Sanders and his son Shedeur on draft day.”
Social media reaction was vicious.
One commenter wrote, “Take all of the black talent away from the NFL, no one would watch that sh*t.”
Another chimed in with, “One word: Collusion.”
A third person added, “Shedeur was definitely supposed to go Top 5. He got f*cked with no Vaseline.”
Comedian Eddie Griffin also gave his two cents.
He drew a juxtaposition between the NFL Draft and a slave auction.
“They still selling n*ggas for high prices,” Eddie cracked.
“Going, going, gone. Sold! Goddamn, that n*gger can run. Slavery ain’t over. It’s just in a different form.”

Umar Johnson is another Al Sharpton. Everything is about race. For one thing , Sanders is not better than Milroe or Gabriel. Gabriel and Milroe played on the big stage and produced. Sanders thought it was an automatic thing since pops is a hall of famer. He should have thrown at the combine and not express which teams he would or wouldn’t play for. Personally I don’t think he is as good at his position as his brother. Umar needs to get that school that he’s been lying about opened and stop worrying about Shedur Sanders.

Last time I checked, Cam Ward, Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter, Ashton Jeanty are all black. All Drafted top 10. Sheduer had bad interviews. He went into an interview with head phones draped around his neck with music playing. If you went into an interview to get a job at a bank or a job at Walmart with headohones on WTF you think would happento you? Not get the job right! The coaches asked Sheduer to break down an offense under center and couldn’t read certain coverages. What did Sheduer do his whole college career? Play from the shotgun. In the NFL everything is not out of a shotgun formation.
