  13. Unpopular opinion and not even trolling. The media and critics are over hyping this movie so outrageously. The movie was Peak Mid and MBJ performance was ok. Literally no depth between the two characters and thats why he played 2 roles because they just said play the exact same character with a different hat. The villain was such a generic and forgettable vampire when there are so many other better vampire flicks out there that are wayyyy more worth watching. The studio and director spent good money on marketing making this movie to be THIS GOOD when this is another “Longlegs” situation.

  18. I worked at a movie theater years ago; alot of black people went to see Black Panther but many would then buy tickets to BP but sneak into another movie. Im not mad at the hustle or wanting for something to be successful. Hey, black people have always been a group that will pay for entertainment and thats why they get more films in Hollywood then Asians, Hispanics etc…Just pointing out that certain black films get a ton of support for more reasons then just being a good film. I mean people that go see Avatar 10 times dont do that. Sinners is ok, but not as good as many are saying it is.

I still always fail to understand why so many black people take any criticism of a black person or any piece of work created by a black so damn personally, and it’s ALWAYS got to be racism or in Jason’s case calling him names and saying he is against black people. It’s a silly azz movie that to be honest sounded dumb as hell when I first heard of it. Also not a Micheal B. Jordan fan, never liked any of his films and never thought he was any kind of great actor. The producers of this movie seemed to have 2 incomplete stories that they decided to mix into one and covered it with a lot of victimhood, racial b.s to appease the victim types. AT a minimum any damn movie worth a damn doesn’t try to bring 2025 stuff and music into a 1930’s time frame. Love it if you want, the whole thing sounds like a bore and a waste of good money.
