LAS VEGAS — When beefin’ on social media goes tragically wrong. Sin City Manny (né Manuel Ruiz) was thrown in the slammer after he murdered 44-year-old Rodney Finley (aka Finny Da Legend) and his wife, 43-year-old Tanisha Finley, over a YouTube beef involving copyright strikes. The double homicide transpired on June 8, 2025 outside the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was also live-streamed. According to reports, Manny and Rodney started feuding in 2023 when the former pepper-sprayed Tanisha. “This was brewing,” said Derek Ware, Rodney’s friend. “This brewed for two years.” On the day of the shooting, Rodney and Tanisha were live-streaming on the Vegas Strip when Manny walked up and let his gat explode — striking the lovebirds multiple times. Then he walked into a precinct and turned himself in. Manny, 41, was arrested and charged with murder.
During interrogation, Manny claimed self-defense — saying Rodney reached for his waistband (for a gun) and Tanisha had a “shiny black object in her hand” that resembled a pistol. However, no weapons were found. Manny will now spend the rest of his miserable existence behind bars. Investigators found one of Rodney’s streams that showed him and a cast of online guests lambasting Manny’s prowess of Sin City. “He’s the least informed Vegas person out there,” said one of co-streamers on the 5-hour podcast.
“If anyone should be striked down, it should be Manny,” replied another.
After the broadcast, Manny lost followers as Rodney’s popularity grew to more than 4,000 subscribers.
Rather than compete, Manny let his trigger finger do the talking.
“That’s just sick,” Derek said.
“What do you get out of that? I don’t get that. You just ruined two families.”

Also to parents try and keep off letting your kids being on social media for as long as you can because if they have a problem at school they used to be able to switch off and relax when they left in the afternoon but nowadays that negativity and bullying is coming home with them and they don’t get a break. Remember you’re the parent and it’s up to you to talk with your kids about social media and how nasty people are on there just because they are anonymous and don’t face any accountability for their bullying and trolling.
