ATLANTA — The adventures of Pookeisha & Ray Ray continue. Shakyia Perkins was thrown in the slammer after she murdered her lesbian ex-girlfriend, Corneisha Butler, because she dumped her for a penis after 6 years of copulation. The femicide transpired in Atlanta, Georgia on November 17, 2022 in front of Corneisha’s 2-year-old son. According to police reports, Corneisha — a twerking mother of 4 — broke up Shakyia and filed a restraining order. But the jilted carpet muncher threatened to “commit a first-degree murder” if Corneisha didn’t take her back. Lo and behold, when she didn’t get her wish, Shakyia barged into Corneisha’s home with a gun and opened fire — striking her in the head in front of the aforementioned toddler. Shakyia was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, possession of a firearm, and cruelty to children.
She’s serving life in the penitentiary with the possibility of parole, which means she’s exposed to an all-you-can-eat buffet of inmate pussy.
“She ultimately pleaded to life with the possibility of parole,” Fulton County Senior Assistant District Attorney Travis Thomas told reporters.
“That was a plea deal that was offered. So she admitted everything.”
Social media reaction was fierce. One reader wrote, “Black women love thugs, even if they’re female.” Another chimed in with, “Four kids by a man and suddenly you’re into women??? OKAY…” A third person added, “She played stupid games and won a stupid prize. She knew she wanted men. Why play games with that woman? If you know you prefer something other than what your partner can give you, STOP playing with their feelings and emotions, thinking there won’t be any consequences for your actions.”
Investigators said the quondam lovebirds have a history of domestic violence.
In 2021, Shakyia set Corneisha’s Mercedes-Benz ablaze then sent her a pair of text messages that read, “Soon you will be dead, [and] l’ll be in jail [and] that’s fine” and “I’m going for 1st degree, not 2nd degree. Stamp that.”
Corneisha had just bought a brand new house, and Shakyia was jealous.

As a woman who left an abusive marriage 16 years ago, with 4 kids, I will say that we are quick to blame law enforcement and everyone else when we’re the only ones who can make the biggest change! I filed charges 5 separate times in the 10 plus years we were together (even though i was beaten viciously daily) but i can’t tell you how many times i lied for him, bailed him out of jail, visited him in jail like a dumb ass! How many times I told the police “it was just an argument that got loud) when actually Id been kicked, strangled, bitten in the face, punched, chocked, tried to gouge my eyes out, etc. But we find so many reasons (excuses) to stay then expect for folks to come running EVERYTIME he puts a foot in our asses! We have to decide to give a damn about our lives before we put that responsibility on others! And DEFINITELY start caring more for what we put our children through because we “love” these psychos!
