WASHINGTON — Crime is so rampant throughout America, President Donald Trump has deployed the National Guard to 19 states. That’s not a misprint. The Commander-in-Chief signed an executive order on Monday establishing “specialized units specifically trained and equipped to deal with public order issues.” In other words, Trump has granted the military complete autonomy to effectuate domestic law enforcement activities in crime-ridden cities like Chicago and Baltimore à la Martial Law. “Chicago, Illinois is a disaster,” Trump told reporters. “I have property there. It’s a disaster.” Illinois Governor JB Pritzker held an emergency press conference, urging Trump to keep his ass away from the Windy City. “I am ringing the alarm,” Pritzker vented. “Donald Trump wants to use the U.S. military to occupy a U.S. city, punish his dissidents and score political points. Mr. President, do not come to Chicago. You are neither wanted here nor needed here.”
Pritzker also made it crystal clear he’s prepared to file a lawsuit if necessary. “We will see the Trump administration in court,” he vowed. “The state of Illinois is ready to stand against this military deployment with every peaceful tool we have.” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson echoed a homogeneous sentiment. “We believe you don’t solve crime by sending in the military,” he said.

The other day, he ordered a bunch of pizza 🍕 and cheeseburgers 🍔 for the National Guard in Washington, D.C., before joining them on foot to patrol one of the city’s most dangerous neighborhoods.

Trump poked fun of Pritzker’s waistline, calling him a “slob of a Governor.”
He also said, “He ought to spend more time in the gym.”
