MINNEAPOLIS — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. David Eugene Wright, 50, was thrown in the slammer after he murdered his ex-girlfriend, 34-year-old Mariah Rosanna Samuels, because she dumped his ass. The femicide transpired on September 14, 2025 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to reports, Mariah filed a restraining order against David after he held a gun to her head and threatened to kill her if she didn’t take him back. Rather than find himself a new source of nookie, David rode his bike to Mariah’s residence and shot her 10 times while she was sedentary in the driver’s seat of her Jeep. Yep, that n*gga rode a bicycle. Didn’t even have a car. Ladies, choose better. Nevertheless… David fled the scene. But he was busted the next day after detectives identified him via a neighbor’s security camera. During police interrogation, David (recently released from prison after serving 15 years) confessed to committing murder. “I’m not going to fight this situation,” he said.
This is not going to be a hard-fought case.”
What’s sad is just minutes before the shooting, Mariah went online and accused the police department of not doing sh*t💩. “I was trynna stay silent but stalking me at 4 in the f*cking morning and the police ain’t doing sh*t or did a [mothaf*cking] thing beside serve him a protective order and clearly it’s not doing sh*t! F*ck this!” she wrote. Social media reaction was off the chain.
One commenter wrote, “He wanted to go back to prison where his boyfriend is.”
Another chimed in with, “These women LOVE them thugs and killers and open the door and their legs for them. But let it be a good man with no criminal record, no kids out of wedlock, and has a decent career…. NAWWWW thats a soft-ass boy, he’s not ‘exciting.’ Oh well…… 😂😂😂😂😂”
A third person added, “She should’ve gone to the shelter!”
Mariah is survived by her three children.
She’s also the 4th woman in her family to be killed by a man.

I have a niece who left her crazy and abusive husband. Was gone from him not quite 3-months and just went back to him. I have mentally prepared myself for the phone call of a story just like this. Her stupidity is going to eventually cost her her life. I feel it in my spirit. This dude was strangling her and was arrested for domestic violence a few months ago and she went back to him 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄.
