ST. LOUIS — Luke 12:53 says, “They will be divided, father against son, and son against father.” Legend Brown, 15, was thrown in the slammer after he deleted his own father, 34-year-old Johnathan Brown, following an argument. The patricide transpired around 5 p.m. on January 7, 2026 at their residence in the 10800 block of Glen Garry Road in St. Louis, Missouri — just days after the juvenile celebrated his 15th birthday🎂. According to reports, Johnathan and Legend had contretemps over something trivial. Later that evening, the teen entered John’s bedroom, pulled out a gun, and opened fire — striking his dad in the head while he was taking a nap. First responders performed life-saving measures. But it was to no avail. Johnathan was pronounced dead at the scene. Legend was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. Johnathan recorded the boy’s birthday party and, while descrying the video, you can tell something was definitely off.
Social media reaction was wild. One commenter wrote, “What a boring party for a teenager. He looked sad and lonely. He wasn’t engaged with no one. Just sat on the couch looking lost.” Another chimed in with, “Ain’t no way I would’ve been recording my kid moping around at his birthday party.” A third viewer added, “Wanting to be social media famous at your child’s expense is crazy work.”
Johnathan had just got out of prison.
Scuttlebutt has it he effectuated sex crimes against children.
A woman named Brit Brat danced on his grave.
“John Brown was a pedophile!,” she tweeted.
“What’s done in the dark always comes to the light!”
Johnathan was a father of three.
Legend is his oldest child.

The father came out of jail should have taken small steps to build a relationship with his son. Build a trust. That boy saw his father as a stranger not a father so it was easy for him to shot him plus he had some resentments through his father but wanted to mimic him in thug life. So sad

The father was in jail during the yrs where he was really impressionable, so no telling what the son got into while the dad was locked up then the dad get out of jail and bring structure and discipline….some children can’t deal with that!

Watched a good chunk of that birthday video, that child was literally wiping tears at some point, NOT ONE adult asked what was wrong, we know because he literally kept the camera on him the entire time, despite the boys obvious discomfort… He wasn’t simply ungrateful, or just an introvert, and or something like that… What teenage boy is at his own party with money on top of money being thrown his way, literally, and he’s crying???
Never in my life have I seen a teen or kids of any other age sad , void of any emotion, and disconnected at his or her own bday party?what happ6that caused it?, What was more disturbing is no 1 cared that he was acting like that , not even the person filming him cared to ask? ,like wait a minute, stop the music what’s wrong , is what I was waiting to hear from somebody, whatever happened to that kid made him a ticking time bomb towards his dad ,very sad

Well, he obviously was trying to rebuild that rapport with his son. His son probably had resentment towards his father, for being away during those pivotal moments. However, no matter how long the father been in jail, he did not deserve to be killed. His son will now spend the rest of his life in prison, something he may have wanted to prevent his son from. It’s really a spiritual warfare against these kids, and the devil comes to “steal, kill and destroy” so he definitely, used that kid against his father! No doubt about that! The devil attacks children the most, because they’re most vulnerable and can be easily targeted. This generation of children is definitely under spiritual attack!
For some of you in the comments please look up why the father did prison time. Once you read that you’ll have a better way to think about this murder. His dad was a mentally sick individual.
