CINCY — “If I can’t have you, no one can!” Jasmine Blake was thrown in the slammer after she deleted her lesbo girlfriend, 33-year-old Diamond Rice, during an argument. The deadly shooting transpired on February 1, 2026 at their Walnut Hills apartment in Cincinnati, Ohio. According to reports, Diamond told Jasmine she was sick and tired of her bullsh*t so she’s ending the relationship. A bout of contretemps ensued. “I’mma find me another bitch!” Diamond reportedly yelled. As the quarrel intensified, Jasmine pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking Diamond seven times. Then she called 911 and claimed self-defense, telling the dispatcher Diamond tried to kill her. However, when police arrived, they found evidence that suggested otherwise. Diamond wasn’t armed and there were no visible injuries on Jasmine. Officers smelled bullsh*t and pulled out a pair of handcuffs. Jasmine — a nurse and University of Cincinnati student, was arrested and charged with murder.
Her promising métier as a medical professional is toast🍞.
Diamond will definitely be missed. She succored troubled teens by serving as assistant director for Hamilton County’s youth advocate programs (YAP). The organization issued a statement via social media. “Diamond was a powerful force at YAP and she is sorely missed here in Hamilton County, Ohio, and nationally,” the director wrote. “She was proud to share her personal story at events to raise awareness and funding for the nonprofit.”
Wanda Sommonds, Diamond’s mom, echoed a homogeneous sentiment.
“She was everybody’s sunshine, basically, on a cloudy day,” she said.
“I’m going to miss her a lot.”
Prior to the murder, Diamond disseminated a video to vent her frustration with Jasmine’s indolence.
“You know what I realized today? My girlfriend don’t do sh*t in this house,” Diamond ranted.
“All she do is run that mouth and find movies on Netflix.”
