LOUISVILLE — When handin’ out chores goes wrong. Patrick Brents, 57, was thrown in the slammer after he Ctrl-Alt-Deleted his wife, 49-year-old Carolyn Ross-Brents, because she asked him to clean the house🏠. The uxoricide transpired around 4:15 p.m. on March 14, 2026 at their residence in Louisville, Kentucky. According to reports, Patrick and the family were preparing for a trip out of town when Carolyn had trouble finding her stuff because her slothful husband had his dookie-stained drawls💩 and dirty socks scattered throughout the crib. “Will you clean this sh*t up?” Carolyn reportedly asked. “We’re gonna end up with roaches!” Rather than pick up a broom, Patrick cussed Carolyn out — sparking a bout of contretemps. Then, as the quarrel intensified, Patrick grabbed a gun. “Bitch, don’t tell me what the f*ck to do!” he reportedly yelled. “I’ll kill you!”
Carolyn’s son heard the ruckus and ordered Patrick to leave his mother alone to which he replied, “What are you gonna do about it?” Next thing you know, Patrick opened fire — striking Carolyn in the abdomen. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Patrick told investigators he was only trying to scare Carolyn and the pistol went off by accident.
But they knew he was full of sh*t.
Patrick was arrested and charged with murder.
Now he’ll spend the rest of his life doing chores in prison.
Carolyn, a business owner, was no doubt the breadwinner🍞.
Patrick, a freeloading beta, was living underneath her roof.
The spurious lovebirds appeared to be the perfect couple on social media.
They disseminated a video that shows ’em canoodling on a boat.
They also shared clips of themselves dancing at their wedding ceremony.
But, behind closed doors it was pure hell.
