QUEENS — Not sure what’s in the water, but you’d be sagacious to eschew pissing off anybody with a military background. Kegan Thomas, 33, was thrown in the slammer after he Ctrl-Alt-Deleted his mother, 56-year-old Clemer Ponce, and his sister, 28-year-old Selena Ponce, during a domestic dispute. The matricide-sororicide transpired around noon on July 25, 2026 at a residence 🏠 on Ocean Crest Boulevard near Beach 25 Street in Queens, New York. Scuttlebutt has it Kegan — a military veteran — and Clemer had contretemps about him moving out and getting his own apartment. Kegan yelled something to the effect of, “F*ck that! I ain’t going nowhere!” As the argument intensified, Kegan grabbed a shotgun and opened fire — striking Clemer in the chest and Selena in the shoulder. Kegan’s wife ran outside and dialed 911.

“The caller states that her husband is armed and had a history of mental illness and he ‘killed them,'” said NYPD Assistant Chief Christopher McIntosh. Moments later, Kegan set the house on fire🔥 — causing a gigantic explosion. Clemer and Selena were burned alive. The family dog 🐶 and cat both died from smoke inhalation. And, nearby homes were evacuated.

Then, Kegan emerged from the abode with his shotgun while wearing a tactical vest.

That n*gga looked like a black Rambo.

“The suspect actually came out the house ready for war,” a neighbor told reporters.

After setting up a barricade, police told Kegan to drop the weapon.

When he refused to comply, officers busted a cap in his ass.

Kegan was transported to the hospital, where he received treatment.

He was also arrested and charged with murder, arson, aggravated cruelty to animals, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Social media reaction was vicious.

One commenter wrote, “I’m so tired of seeing these incidents involving EX-MILITARY. Esteban Santiago-Ruiz who shot up Fort Lauderdale Airport was ex-military. Robert Card who shot up a bowling alley was an army reservist. Yet, CRICKETS from the government😡😡😡.”

Another person added, “Everyone is not meant to join the military… the war in which they fought plays over and over in their minds… having to kill men, and sometimes women and children, eventually takes a toll. They should have gotten him better help because PTSD meds don’t cut it.”
