Trump reaches ‘peace deal’ with Iran, war is finally over

TEHRAN — “🎵Kumbaya my Lord, kumbaya!🎵” It’s over. It’s finally over. After 106 days of blowin’ each other to smithereens, the United States surrendered… er, I mean reached a peace agreement with Iran to bring about the cessation of the war. Yessir, Donald Trump’s “Operation Epic Fury” — the joint U.S. and Israeli military campaign that started on February 28, 2026 — is toast. The Commander-in-Chief announced the good news on Sunday. “The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete,” Trump, 80, said in a Truth Social post. “Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll-free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the world, start your engines. Let the oil flow.” In addition to opening up the Strait of Hormuz to allow oil tankers to pass through the region sans a toll, the deal includes permanent termination of military operations. That means no more bombings and/or bustin’ caps.
Trump will also give Iran $300 billion in reconstruction funds.
As soon as the announcement was made, global oil prices dropped by more than 4 percent. The pact, however, doesn’t contain specifics about the status of Iran’s nuclear program and the potency of their ballistic missiles. Social media reaction was off the chain. One commenter wrote, “The war is not over until we get a Trump Casino and golf course built in the capital of Iran.”
Another chimed in with:
I’ll believe it when I see it.”
A third person added, “Congratulations! We are back where we began. What an achievement! The Strait of Hormuz was open before Trump started the war. So, what did we accomplish? Not a goddamn thang!”
Now that the war is over, here’s the death toll:
– Roughly 6,000 Iranians were killed.
– Another 3,700 mofos got smoked in Lebanon.
– More than 60 Israelis received dirt naps.
– And, 15 Americans were Ctrl-Alt-Deleted.
The war has also cost taxpayers more than $40 billion.

Trump failed in showing humanity. How many lives have been lost in the Iran–Israel conflict and the Russia–Ukraine war? If the USA had played a stronger role in promoting peace between these countries, it might have helped reduce the violence. Trump created a middle east mess that has made the region and the world more unstable than it was. His promises to help the innocent Iranian people are no longer coming out of his mouth as usual proving that his promises are worthless! He’s created an economic nightmare around the world and put in motion an escalating problem with food insecurities including famine in many countries and certainly higher prices to come by mid summer and beyond right here at home. Meanwhile we’re at the mercy of Israel and Hezbollah to see which gets trigger happy first and restarts it all over again… Trumps “Memorandum of Understanding” sounds to me more like a DEAL MADE ON QUICKSAND! I hope it all holds but have no faith in ANYTHING that comes out of his mouth!

Trump may claim victory for now, but buyer beware, a key problem in this peace deal is that for the next 60 days Iran and Trump will negotiate for a plan to get rid of Iran’s Uranium – you know, that stuff that Trump has repeatedly claimed “we can simply destroy it.” Republicans, most who have their heads up Trump’s a$$ are cheering and claiming that only Trump could of brought peace to the middle east – news flash, there has never been nor will there ever be peace in the Middle East, so all Trump has won is reopening the Straits without tolls…exactly what we had BEFORE his war began.
