Tyreek suffers a gruesome injury, career appears over

Tyreek suffers devastating injury/Speakeasy

Stick a fork in Tyreek Hill.

MIAMI — It’s been a terrible year for Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill. First. he descried his quondam team (our Kansas City Chiefs) reach a 3rd straight Super Bowl without him. Then, his ex-wife took him to the cleaners in their divorce. Now it appears his métier is toast🍞. During his team’s 27-21 victory over the New York Jets on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” Tyreek — aka the Cheetah 🐆 — was carted off the field with an acute left leg injury. And, get this: The team performed better without him. Tyreek dislocated his knee while making a catch early in the 3rd quarter. You can see his leg dangling as he grimaces in pain. Players from both teams encircled Tyreek before genuflecting in prayer. Patrick Mahomes tweeted, “Prayers up man… 🙏🏽🙏🏽” After trainers placed an air cast over his leg, a smiling Tyreek proceeded to clap as he was being taken off the field.

The crowd cheered in response.

It’s some of the saddest sh*t 💩 you’ll ever see.

“He was probably in the best spirits of any player that I’ve ever seen [have] such a terrible experience,” Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters. “He immediately had wide eyes and was talking, ‘I’m good, just make sure the guys get this win.’ He was focused on the team.” Social media reaction was merciless. One commenter wrote, “Looks like karma finally caught up to this douche bag. Fingers crossed they have to amputate that leg!”

Another chimed in with, “KARMA… Isn’t he the one who hurts WOMEN AND CHILDREN?!”

A third person added, “Now he can spend time with his 10 kids.”

Tyreek is 31 years old.

By the time he completes a year of rehab, plus another few months of working himself back into football shape, he’ll be around 33.

And, because his game is predicated on speed, an injury of this magnitude will no doubt slow him down.

It’s probably safe to presume Tyreek’s football career is over.

He’s still a Chiefs legend.

Just hate to see him go out like that.

Watch Tyreek snap his leg in half.

  1. Bro is not in shock he is happy he gets paid to not play which is what he wanted anyways 🤣

  2. They say he suffered catastrophic damage to interior ligaments with possible nerve damage. Definitely career ending. He will be lucky to walk without a limp.

  3. Naaa that sucks man. I’m not a big fan of Tyreek, and I know he hasn’t been getting the same stats as of late, but he was in his absolute prime before this injury. I watched his offseason and the training he was doing, and the routes he was running were probably the best I have ever seen. It was like a mix of Ochocinco and Antonio Brown, but even better. Man that injury sucks.

  4. At the position he plays and the skill set he has, I doubt he will ever play again.

  5. Maybe his gf’s and wives and kids he hits and strangles can get away now.

  6. Damn man… that’s the type of injury you don’t come back from, especially when you stamp your name with your explosive speed and athleticism. He’ll probably come back, but that’s most likely the last of the cheetah we knew.

  7. For Hill and those of us who enjoyed watching him explode down the field, this is very sad news. While I hope he makes a full recovery, something like this can linger and make it very difficult to regain the explosiveness he’s known for. While there is a huge chance he will never be the same, even a Tyreek Hill at 80-90% is still better than most of the receivers in the league. Since he’d been toying with retiring anyway tho, I can see this being the nail in the coffin.

Thanks for the fireworks, Tyreek! Hope everything goes well for you.

  8. When I broke my leg in three places , everything went in slow motion , I took one step, and was out cold. Broke every blood vessel in my leg.

  9. I think many teams are going to avoid giving elite wide receivers big contracts. Malik Nabers was a big loss for New York. Look how much money the chiefs saved by not giving Tyreek his money. Used a first round pick on Xavier worthy who is making 30 plus million less a season than Tyreek who is not available.

  10. He would have 2 more rings if he stayed in kc. Would have played in the last 3 superbowls.

  11. People don’t get it – he’s happy because the Dolphins will now have to buy him out of his contract with a huge $$ injury settlement. He’s been complaining about being there for years – he’s “free” after his rehab.

  12. Total dislocation, torn ACL, PCL, possible veins and nerves torn…
All from a hip-drop tackle which wasn’t even flagged.

  13. He’s screaming yes! And waving bye to the fans, he’s wanted out for years and now he’s got it.

  14. Thats what happen when your QB sucks…he throws passes where u have to come back to get, risk your health to catch

  15. Welp his career is over speed was the only thing he had to offer now that’s gone… price of being a one trick pony

  16. That’s a ridiculous tackle tho. Let’s be real.. dude dragging and twisting mans shin ankle and foot. I think players should get fined if they literally cause another player an injury. Oh they tripped over each other, jumped into each other in mid air, okay cool that’s not intentional. That tackle looks intentional af.

  17. @Jesse: He said he was clapping and smiling to keep his teammates and fans to keep going yes he was hurting but he kept up the good spirits all the way till the hospital

  18. This called karma from breaking his kid arm & putting his hands on his woman

  19. Tyreek depends on speed, there’s no way he is coming back the same player after that kinda injury. It’s over, he should’ve never left Mahomes in the first place

  20. I’m not a lip reader but it looked like to me he said I’ll be back

  21. Ive been saying before the season even started that dolphins should trade him for whatever value they can get smh cant do that now

  22. “When I hit da dance floor I be
Do da stanky legg, do da stanky legg, do da stanky legg”
