As previously mentioned, the game was mundane as hell. We fell asleep multiple times. However, to my surprise, the most exciting aspect of the Super Bowl was Bad Bunny’s halftime show even though I couldn’t understand a damn thang he said because he don’t speak English. The Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 rapper — who’s full-blown, Liberace gay — refrained from wearing lipstick 💄, heels 👠 and a dress.
His act also featured a heterosexual wedding that showed the groom tongue-kissing his bride.
Bad Bunny even danced with a couple of sexy chicks — like he wanted some pussy.
I was like, “What the f*ck?”
Bad Bunny wasn’t fruity 🍎🍊🍒🍓 at all.
Somebody must’ve threatened his ass prior to kickoff.
Might’ve been President Donald Tump who called his performance “one of the worst, EVER!”
Scuttlebutt has it the NFL lost 25 million viewers as part of a protest against Bad Bunny.
Not to mention ticket prices reached a record low.

We missed out on Gates Barbecue because I couldn’t get my order placed in time.
So we went with Jack Stack Barbecue.
We bought a slab of beef ribs, a pan of smoked chicken 🍗 and a pound of brisket.
Man, we tore that sh*t up.
And there’s plenty of leftovers.
As for TV commercials?
A 30-second spot cost $8 million and NBC sold all 69 of ’em.

Sam Darnold did his job, lit it up when he needed to against the Rams and protected the ball when he needed to. The Seahawks are the only team in SB history to not have a turnover in the post season.

The NFL has had a long term exclusive contract woth Rock Nation to provide entertainment for the Superbowl. That contract limits the options. Curious that the NFL would align with Jay-Z. Remember guys, at one point in this country HORSERACING was the most popular and most viewed sport on television. Then it was baseball. NFL for some reason believes they’ll stay on top forever.
I don’t watch football anymore, and certainly didn’t watch the halftime show. After the kneeling protest I refused to watch it for one year and eventually learned to live without it.
Off subject, but riggng games has gone on forever. The 1979 NCAA tournament was absolutely going to be Magic vs Bird between Indiana State and Michigan State.
The 1983 Cotton Bowl was going to be Marino vs Dickerson with SMU vs Pitt. There were flags thrown in the Arkansas SMU game, phony pass interference calls which insured Arkansas wouldn’t beat SMU. All about ratings, the show, the spread but NEVER as obvious as today. Then it was always “the refs cheated us”. I believe the 76 Raiders were definitely set up to be in the Super Bowl with the questionable 4th down hand to the head of Stabler which gave them a 1st down and touchdown in the final seconds of the game. The next week in the AFC championship game Franco Harris and Rocky Bleier were out of the game due to “injuries.” Raiders won easily and then on to the Super Bowl. So the old days were flags and sitting out key players for injuries to make it more legit. Tons more examples could be given….I loved that Raiders team by the way but the whole history of the game was nothing but a show. Romo fumble vs Seattle, Danny White fumble in the 81 NFC Championship in the final minutes when Dallas was in field goal range and the catch would have never been mentioned in history. The suspicious activity were fumbles and bs when teams could’ve clearly won even in high school situations from these actors… The ultimate from the 90s in the SuperBowl was “Who was Neil O Donnell throwing to in SuperBowl 30?” No one around but Dallas DB’s.
