CALI — In Ron Shelton’s 1992 basketball flick🏀, Sidney Deane told Billy Hoyle, “White Men Can’t Jump.” ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith echoed a homogeneous sentiment last week. Now he’s under fire 🔥 like a mothaf*cka. The “First Take” host pissed off Caucasians worldwide when he lambasted the Los Angeles Lakers for featuring too many white players. Shortly after LeBron James announced his exit, Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka gave a contract extension to Austin Reaves then traded for Walker Kessler. Both will play alongside star guard Luka Dončić — giving the Lakers a white Big 3. Stephen A, 58, ain’t impressed. “Where the hell do the Los Angeles Lakers think they’re going with a bunch of white dudes?” he ranted on his self-titled podcast. “Your three top players are white dudes? Really? This ain’t golf. This ain’t baseball. Hell, it ain’t even soccer.”
In NBA history, when have you seen your three most prominent players on a basketball team all be white? And, that takes you to the promised land? Somebody got to say it, so I’m saying it.”
“This is basketball… I’m simply making the point,” Stephen A. continued. “The Los Angeles Lakers, you ain’t going anywhere, being led by three white dudes in today’s generation of basketball… It ain’t happening.” Social media reaction was hilarious. One commenter wrote, “Stephen A. is telling the truth. Gotta have niggas if you wanna win championships in basketball and football.”
Another chimed in with, “It’s 2026. Blacks need to start their own league anyway, and get away from these crackers.”
A third person added, “I think this is hilarious but it’s worth pointing out the race hypocrisy in America. If somebody said this about three black guys on a hockey team, they would’ve been fired minutes later.”
If you recall, Jimmy “The Greek” Snyder was jettisoned from CBS in 1988 after he said blacks are better athletes than whites.
“The black [man] is a better athlete to begin with because he’s been bred to be that way,” Jimmy explained.
Because of his high thighs and big thighs that go up into his back. And they can jump higher and run faster because of their bigger thighs. I’m telling you that the black [man] is the better athlete. He practices to be the better athlete and he’s bred to be the better athlete because this goes all the way to the Civil War when, during the slave trading, the owner, the slave owner, would breed his big woman so that he would have a big black kid, see. That’s where it all started.”

But he failed to mention our big dicks.
Jimmy also said if blacks ever decide to take on leadership roles, it’s a wrap.
“If they take over coaching like everybody wants them to, there’s not gonna be anything left for the white people,” he said.
“All the players are black. The only thing that whites control is the coaching jobs. That’s all that’s left for ’em. The black talent is beautiful, it’s great. The only thing left for the whites is a couple of coaching jobs.”

What SAS said is the truth. I have been saying this for the last year and a half since Luka arrived. I am a Lakers fan and I told my friends and family the Lakers have too many white guys on the team. Most of whom can’t play are suspect. Example Kennard, Kinecht, Timme, and the other back up center. Family that is not the Lakers we look like the old Celtics. No offense but you can’t win in this League with so many inconsistent players white or black. I would have traded Austin Reaves for Jaylen Brown.
