ATLANTA — When a sibling rivalry goes tragically wrong. Ciarre Campbell, 41, was thrown in the slammer after he Ctrl-Alt-Deleted his own mother, 71-year-old Nateal Campbell, because she showed favoritism towards his little brother — Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Calais Campbell. The matricide transpired on June 30, 2026 at their residence in Atlanta, Georgia. According to reports, Ciarre — a paranoid schizophrenic off his medication — and Nateal had contretemps over him moving out and getting his own crib. “Pack your sh*t and leave,” Natael reportedly said. Ciarre then retorted something to the effect of, “You always treat Calais better than me because that nigga got money.” As the argument intensified, Ciarre grabbed a knife 🔪 and stabbed Nateal in the neck. A family member called police and requested a wellness check.

When officers arrived, Ciarre had possession of the weapon and there was blood all over the f*ckin’ place. He was arrested and charged with murder. Shoulda seen it comin.’ Police received nine calls for service to the Campbell residence since September because Ciarre is batshit crazy. His sister called the cops on April 24th because Ciarre “started a fire to rid the house of demons.”

Also, prior to getting her throat slit, Natael stayed gone for a week because Ciarre had “overtaken the home.”

The family issued the following statement:

We are devastated to share that the Campbell Family has lost its matriarch, Mrs. Nateal Campbell… We take comfort in knowing she is reunited with our father, her beloved Chuck, and in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Calais, 39, is going into his 19th NFL season.

He’s the oldest defensive player in the league.

In 2019, the multi-millionaire was crowned “Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.”

Telling you dawg, Calais loved him some Nateal.

In 2018, he wrote her a letter in a Mother’s Day segment for ESPN, calling her “the most giving person I have ever known.”

He also wrote, “You taught me how to roll up my sleeves and go get whatever it is I wanted in life. I’m part of a lot of things in my life, but I’m most proud to call you my mother.”

Ciarre was not only jealous of Calais’ success, he despised the close relationship he shared with Nateal.

Sad, sad story.

  1. They should have put him away a long time ago. Elder parents should not be around these grown sick relatives. Some people can’t be helped?

  2. Calais Campbell is truly an outstanding football player, and even a better human being. Certainly, we don’t intimately know these athletes, but Calais is by all accounts, one of the very good ones.

  3. MENTAL HEALTH 😰 NOTHING TO PLAY WITH 🤯 PLEASE TAKE THE DOSAGE 💊 PRESCRIBED 😢

  4. My son has mental issues I’ve tried to get help so many times … you know what they say… he’s grown

  5. @Patrick: Only a Jerkoff would say something stupid like this at the demise of someone’s mother.

  6. I’m sorry this is why you can’t have mentally ill family members who refuse to get help in your home smh

  7. Killing your own mom is some high level depravity. That poor mom. It’s just unthinkable. This is not uncommon, parents being overwhelmed trying to care for a mentally ill grown up, we need better mental health systems and resources for them. They can’t just put them out on the streets to fend for themselves. Imagine knowing you killed your own mom in a state of psychosis. Everyone loses, it’s just tragic.

  8. Why was he allowed in the mother’s house after countless calls to police! He should have never been allowed around her or the family until he made a choice to take his medication.
