Know when to fold ’em.🎵” This week’s “I F*cked Up A Good Job Award🏆” goes to Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier who were arrested on Thursday for masterminding an NBA gambling scandal that rocked the sports world. Both were “placed on immediate leave from their teams.” FBI agents also arrested 32 other people, including former Cleveland Cavaliers assistant coach Damon Jones. Billups, 49, and several mafia members took part in a nationwide scheme to rig poker games with “high-tech cheating technology to steal millions of dollars from victims.” Them n*ggas used poker chip tray analyzers and tampered shuffling machines that relayed information about players’ hands to an off-site operator. They also wore special glasses and contact lenses “that could read pre-marked cards, and an x-ray table that could read cards face down.”

While playing for the Charlotte Hornets in 2023, Rozier, 31, tipped off longtime friend Deniro Laster about leaving a game early with a “purported injury” so he can make bets against Rozier playing well. Laster and his partners, Marves Fairley and Shane Hennen, then “used that confidential information to place and direct more than $200,000 in wagers predicting Rozier’s ‘under’ statistics.”
Prosecutors said:
Rozier exited the game after nine minutes, with many of the bets paid off, generating tens of thousands of dollars in profits. Laster collected the cash and drove through the night to Rozier’s house, where they counted the profits together.”
Damn, that’s f*cked up.
Jones, 49, leaked medical information to bettors about the injury status for Los Angeles Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
When the Lakers played the Milwaukee Bucks on February 9, 2023, Jones knew beforehand LeBron wouldn’t play with a sore ankle so he sent his co-conspirator the following text, “Get a big bet on Milwaukee tonight before the information is out!”
Jones did the same damn thang on January 15, 2024, when Davis got hurt before the Oklahoma City Thunder game.
Billups, Rozier and Jones are charged with wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering.
If you recall, former Toronto Raptors player Jontay Porter received a lifetime ban from the NBA in April 2024 for disclosing confidential information, rigging games by point shaving, and placing bets.
Referee Tim Donaghy got 15 months in prison for betting on games he officiated and providing inside knowledge to gamblers.
So the NBA is a hot ghetto mess.
The NFL and Major League Baseball are equally corrupt.
That’s why it’s foolish to take sports seriously.
Too many games are scripted and rigged.

People can become literally enslaved to sin. Indeed, it is the very nature of sin to enslave. It explains a great number of the “addictions” that we see. Part of the solution–and I know this happened for me–was to realize that the most manly thing to do is to resist these sinful things, because they not only destroy our soul, but also destroy our general society. I had to realize that there is a deep spiritual force–a Dark Side…Satan–that wants to literally enslave us, and that the Dark Side also has many adherents in the world who intentionally try to corrupt society so that they can rule us. Ever since gambling was made legal in America the game has changed. Everyone knows it, but nobody can do anything about it. The NFL is the largest entertainment pro sport in the US and generates gobs of money (nearly 20 BILLION) so if they can control the games it’s easy money. When a player signs a contract I’m sure this is disclosed and they have to keep their mouth shut and enjoy their wealth. NOTE: My grandma loved big-time wrestling and thought it was real. She was 92. We didn’t have the heart to tell her otherwise. She had fun watching.
Of course, once you realize this crap is fake, it’s not too hard to understand that the other sports are fake. Then you realize that college sports are fake as well.
Then, the media that covers this crap, as well as the sponsors who support it, is fake/in on it. Then the medical team that’s involved, the families, etc. all in on it.

He achieved this at age 38 on February 7th, the 38th day of the year. He happened to score 38 points in that game. He made the West finals, getting beat by Denver representing Colorado the 38th state.
