KANSAS CITY — It’s all about the Benjamins💸, baby! Uh-oh! In a shocking development, Kansas City 5th District Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw and her husband, Public Works Director Michael Shaw, are being investigated by the FBI for… (drumroll)… misappropriation of taxpayer dollars and malfeasance. Scuttlebutt has it, rather than succor residents in dire need, the municipal lovebirds used public funds to shop and procure all kinds of expensive sh*t. The probe shouldn’t be taken lightly. “It is very serious,” federal defense attorney Greg Watt told FOX4 News. “The federal government certainly has jurisdiction to oversee abuses of power, abuses of positions anytime you have an elected official or an appointed official using their position in order to gain something of value. I suspect there is more than enough evidence in order for them to file charges.”
Ryana, who also serves as Mayor Pro Tem, told reporters she didn’t know sh*t about an investigation. When asked if she and her hubby used their positions to take advantage of taxpayers, Ryana replied: “That’s not true.” Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas said he didn’t know sh*t either. “I am unaware as well – no comment,” he said. “I would want to learn a lot more before I discuss anything, but that surprises me, and I hope to learn more very soon.”
Social media reaction was venomous.
One commenter wrote, “Oh, great! More theft of our cash 💰 by these piece of sh*t 💩 politicians.”
Another chimed in with:
I knew it. City Hall is so crooked. Blame DEI.”
A third person added, “They’re Democrats. What do you expect?”
What’s interesting is Ryana has already announced she’s running for mayor.
A federal probe, however, will no doubt sabotage her chances — and that’s if she doesn’t end up in jail.
