NEW YORK — “🎵Everybody was Kung Fu fighting. Those cats were fast as lightning.🎵” Martial arts legend Jet Li and his two beautiful daughters, Jane and Jada, made an appearance on the “Tamron Hall Show” to promote their new memoir “Beyond Life and Death: The Way of True Freedom.” In the book, Jet opens up about his relationship with Jane and Jada and how he’s achieved contentment beyond stardom ⭐ and money. See, just because someone’s rich and famous doesn’t mean they’re happy. Jet kicked everybody’s ass on the big screen. But, behind closed doors, he got his ass kicked by Hollywood. The 63-year-old Chinese actor also discussed how he felt when he found out “Romeo Must Die” co-stars Aaliyah and DMX passed away. The movie was filmed 26 years ago. “I worked with them in very happy experiences,” Jet told host Tamron Hall.

But later on I heard Aaliyah’s physical body passed away. But mentally she’s still in my heart. Every time I come to the stage, Aaliyah — later on DMX — spiritual in my heart. Always never separate.”

Because dirt naps are inevitable, Jet believes it’s imperative to live each day as if it’s your last. That means eschewing misery to maintain good spirits as a glass half full kinda individual. Jet, if you recall, almost died three times within a short period of time. Once during a tsunami. Once during a fall from an 8-foot platform. And, once while suffering from severe altitude sickness.

That sweet ‘n’ sour n*gga is lucky to be alive.

“What I learned from three times going through death is, ‘Why am I still alive?'” Jet recounted.

“Wow, that must mean something. I try to help more people. You know, a lot of people around the world love me… So, since then, I started a foundation in China. In 18 years, we helped 62 million people.”

Jada, who’s struggling with her mental health, was diagnosed with severe depression at 7 years old.

She often locked herself in her bedroom after school and wouldn’t speak to her father.

Jada, 23, said she watched her dad go through hell and back during his heyday in the film industry, and she’s using his experiences to help her overcome her own psychological struggles.

“I think one thing that was really special was getting to see him change because he’s under so much pressure all the time, which I don’t think a lot of people see,” Jada said.

“But he just became so much happier, so much of like… a ‘go with the flow’ person, like a weight was lifted off his shoulder… and I think seeing him be so happy made me realize how important that was.”

Watch Jet and the girls keep it a buck with Tamron.
