CHARLOTTE — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Decarlos Brown, 34, was thrown in the slammer after he butchered Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska for no damn reason. The fatal stabbing transpired on August 22, 2025 on a light rail train 🚂 in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was also captured on video. Surveillance footage shows Iryna, 23, boarding the train and making herself sedentary in a seat in front of a hooded Decarlos who, unprovoked, pulled out a knife and stabbed her to death. Then he sauntered towards the other end of the locomotive as passengers rushed in to succor Iryna. The train stopped two minutes later, and Decarlos was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. What’s sad is he should’ve already been behind bars. That’s because DeCarlos is non compos mentis with a rap sheet comparable to Charles Manson’s.

But… every time he got locked up, the judge let him out.

“Iryna Zarutska was a young woman living the American dream – her horrific murder is a direct result of failed soft-on-crime policies that put criminals before innocent people,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi told reporters.

I have directed my attorneys to federally prosecute Decarlos Brown Jr., a repeat violent offender with a history of violent crime, for murder. We will seek the maximum penalty for this unforgivable act of violence – he will never again see the light of day as a free man.”

FBI Director Kash Patel echoed a homogeneous sentiment. “The FBI jumped to assist in this investigation immediately to ensure justice is served and the perpetrator is never released from jail to kill again,” he vented. “I want to thank Attorney General Bondi for her pursuit of today’s federal charges, which are the first step toward delivering justice for Iryna and her family – as well as the millions of Americans who deserve to live in our great American cities free from being targeted by violent criminals.”

Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles released the following statement: “The video of the heartbreaking attack that took Iryna Zarutska’s life is now public. I want to thank our media partners and community members who have chosen not to repost or share the footage out of respect for Iryna’s family. This was a senseless and tragic loss. My prayers remain with her loved ones as they continue to grieve through an unimaginable time. Like so many of you, I’m heartbroken – and I’ve been thinking hard about what safety really looks like in our city. I remain committed to doing all we can to protect our residents and ensure Charlotte is a place where everyone feels safe.”

Iryna had no interaction with Decarlos prior to the murder.

She had her headphones on and was minding her own f*cking business.

The blonde damsel fled to America to escape the war in Ukraine.

Turns out, she would’ve been safer there.

Racism may have played a factor.

After all, Decarlos is a negro and Iryna was European.

Should this be treated as a hate crime?

Is the death penalty warranted?

I noticed at least 4 out of the 5 people were looking down at their phones devices, and one had headphones on,they may not have known what exactly happened, but they knew something took place, because few of them looked confused and got up. Also did the other 2 get off their stop? However, I would’ve definitely noticed the floor with splattered blood and wondered if the girl was the one hurt, since she looked distraught after…. But again, not everyone would react the same way.

  45. The woman that was supposedly stabbed doesn’t look like she was stabbed. If she was stabbed there would be blood everywhere and people would be rushing to help.
