Chaka Khan fed up.

LOS ANGELES — “🎵Chaka Khan, let me rock you. Let me rock you, Chaka Khan. Let me rock you, ’cause I feel for you.🎵” R&B legend Chaka Khan, 73, ain’t a fan of contemporary female artists. As a matter of fact, she thinks they’re downright disgusting. During a recent chinwag on Jessie Ware’s “Table Manners” podcast, the 10-time Grammy Award winner piggybacked remarks made by Patti LaBelle and Stephanie Mills that modern women are too damn freaky on stage. Raunchy entertainers like Megan Thee Stallion, Ice Spice, Cardi B and GloRilla are known for twerking in lieu of spittin’ quality vocals. “These women are doing any and every damn thing on stage and trying to sing, too,” Chaka vented. “The ones who are doing the most physicalities, with their butts and stuff, and their body parts, are the ones that usually are compensating for what they don’t have.” Ouch! Social media reaction was in agreement. One commenter wrote, “They don’t realize that you can be sexy AND classy.”

Another viewer added:

These young women act like 304s. They’ll do anything for the bag💰, dress any old kinda way, then have the nerve to be sensitive.”

Chaka also ruffled some feathers when she described Ike Turner as a “lovely human being” despite the fact he whooped Tina Turner’s ass every time the sun came up. “I know people have different experiences with people,” Chaka said. “But he was a lovely human being to me.” Chaka just launched the onstage production of “I’m Every Woman: The Chaka Khan Musical.”

The conception is based on her turbulent journey from Chicago’s South Side to global stardom⭐.

She’s portrayed by English actress Alexandra Burke.

“There were times when I thought, will I make it?” Chaka recalled.

“Will I live through this?”

Do you agree with Chaka?

Are modern popsies using ass and tits to compensate for a lack of talent?

Watch Chaka keep it 💯.

  1. What happened to classy women? These women have left absolutely nothing for imagination purposes! You know what they look like in every single way from every single angle! TRASH 🗑️

  2. Chaka was a hot cookie 🍪 back in the day. She aged gracefully and definitely deserves her flowers while she is here.

  3. Chaka all those drugs you did in the 70s and 80s leave these little girls alone you are right but sometimes if you have skeletons in your closet you need to stay quiet…..

  4. The younger generation hate any black speaking truth to them😃 This ain’t for Whites, Puerto Rican, Mexican or any other race, Elder blacks speaking to the young blacks

  5. 😃❤️ WHEN I WAS YOUNG , I REMEMBER WHEN SHE WAS ON SOUL TRAIN & IN THE MUSIC MAGAZINES , I THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WHO WALKED THE EARTH , AND SHE COULD SING !!

  6. ⚜️ I think she is kind of being hypocritical to other artist, because she is in the industry she’s acting like she doesn’t know its an agenda ⚜️

  7. They don’t like Chaka Khan because of the way she looks and presents herself. If anything, she still represents the quality of a black women per 70s in todays time. She is a physical representation of what so many black modern women know they are not. It is like a drop dead gorgeous women walking into a room and every woman hates on her because they know she is miles beyond them.

  8. The modern woman that can’t stand Chaka is nothing but pure Jealousy! The woman is still youthful and beautiful. Her being so outspoken seems to rub people the wrong way.

  9. This is a generational issue. Women of our (Chaka and my) generation were raised and groomed in a consciousness of Black female pride, above all else, that insisted we always present the very best of ourselves when we walked out the door. Dorothy Dandridge, Lena Horne, Diahann Carroll, Eartha Kitt, et al were our models. If younger women fully understand what this means, they would get what Chaka/we are saying.

  10. Ecclesiasticus 26:22-26
[22]An harlot shall be accounted as spittle; but a married woman is a tower against death to her husband.
[23]A wicked woman is given as a portion to a wicked man: but a godly woman is given to him that feareth the Lord.
[24]A dishonest woman contemneth shame: but an honest woman will reverence her husband.
[25]A shameless woman shall be counted as a dog; but she that is shamefaced will fear the Lord.
[26]A woman that honoureth her husband shall be judged wise of all; but she that dishonoureth him in her pride shall be counted ungodly of all.

  11. When you can really sing you are not going to be jumping around. You have to breathe a real singer knows this.

  12. Chaka Khan keeps it real she tells you how she feel no holding back and Truth be told she is absolutely right female artists use their Sex Appeal there is a big difference between Then and Now

  13. After 400 years of women being abused, raped, silenced, used, tortured…. then women fighting back for respect and dignity. And now these young girls are easily tricked and brainwashed into voluntarily degrading themselves, disrespecting themselves, and oversexualizing themselves because men are encouraging it for their benefit…..its systematic brainwashing to lower their status. It is done on purpose to get women back to being abused and disrespected. Unfortunately, these girls wont listen to the elders who see what they dont see, and they will one day regret it.

  14. Showing off your ass ’cause you’re thinkin’ it’s a trend
Girlfriend, let me break it down for you again
You know I only say it ’cause I’m truly genuine
Don’t be a hard rock when you really are a gem

Baby girl, respect is just a minimum
N- f- up and you still defending ’em
    Now, Lauryn is only human
Don’t think I haven’t been through the same predicament
Let it sit inside your head like a million women in Philly, Penn
It’s silly when girls sell their souls because it’s in
Look at where you be in, hair weaves like Europeans
    Fake nails done by Koreans
    Come again

  15. My older auntie who is 65 years old always says homes back in the day had “dads” and that makes a difference.

  16. Kills my SOUL to see the women of today… They don’t realize they’ve lost their grace, power… the things that made them QUEENS in the first place.

  17. They are a a disgrace to our women put some damn clothes on ya’ll look Funky yes I said it I’am 70 plus when I was little girl prostitutes were classy we didn’t know they that was their profession they weren’t showing their body to the whole world before I knew what they did I wanted to dress like them dress shoes gloves everything matched beautiful colors 😊😊🦋

  18. Chaka Khan represents an ERA in America when the theme was BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. It was written on tee shirts, bumper stickers, caps, balloons, cakes, diapers, caskets, umbrellas, where do any of you see that today. It was Chaka’ music that was blasting while all of that was happening. Most of you weren’t even born yet.

  19. I am sorry but, This lady REALLY does not have any room to criticize this generation. I am early gen-x and I can tell you that she is no angel her dam self. She didn’t come on stage naked, but she often came on HIGH AS HELL.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.

  20. Even Monique caught flack about telling them about dressing in pajamas
    and bonnets out in public.🤷🏾‍♂️

  21. A lot of these young women weren’t taught to value and respect themselves, the only thing they value is money and/or attention! And it’s sad!

  22. Damn even Chaka Khan is calling them out and they still won’t listen… Birds of a feather will always flock together.

  23. Chaka Khan is being a bit disingenuous. If you look back at how she dressed when she was with Rufus she was selling the whole “sex appeal” thing too. Look at her past performance on SOUL TRAIN. Now she’s old and bitter sooooo…..🤔

  24. Aretha Franklin was on Soul Train with a see thru blouse with no bra on while being interviewed by Don Cornelius and nobody said shit

  25. What?……. Chaka Khan come on now we remember how you used to dress when you sung with Rufus . They didn’t call her a diva for nothing her dress code wasn’t much different from what we see today and this was back in the 70s, so I think this is the pot calling kettle black

  26. After I grew up and got married I realized the Ike Turner narrative had two sides.

  27. Chaka was out here with these tightest outfits the 70s could offer, she can sing, but she was looking out of everything too with her curvy ass, she telling the truth, but its hypocrisy at its finest!

  28. I thought it was well known by now Tina was wild as fuck and a loose cannon and Ike was the more chill one?

  29. Chaka Khan Is 100% Correct. As a 55 year old drummer, I know Chaka Khan can Flat Foot Sing WITHOUT Protools, AI, Accompanied Tracks Behind Her Vocals, or Any Other Studio Enhancements. If you dance More than you sing with Showing 75% of your body and calling men Dogs, you need to rethink are you a Real Singer.

  30. I don’t understand at one time females did not want to be called bitches and hoes especially by men now these female rappers are not only calling each other bitches and hoes but they’re talking about their actual nookie.

  31. What Chaka is addressing is the lack of talent. In her day you had to have talent before anything else. Proof is in the pudding. Pay attention to how all of them look and dress the same. Even the rap girlies lack bars. It’s why all the music sounds the same too. I miss when genres actually existed because we have plethora of styles to choose from. There’s a reason so many millenials and Gen X artist samples people like Aretha,Chaka and the others.

  32. ike turner’s ghost need to come slap alot of these modern day women upside the head lol
