Obama Center a disaster, residents are mad as hell

CHICAGO — Quondam President Barack Obama and his better half, Michelle “Big Mike” Obama (né Michael Lavaughn Robinson), hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week to mark the grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center. And, like his presidency, the eight-story shrine is an absolute disaster. Stevie Wonder was among the many celebrities in attendance which is ironic because even he can see the project was a monumental mistake. For starters, Barack’s legacy venue is an eyesore — a monstrosity structured as a giant mausoleum or prison. “It’s not too pretty,” President Donald Trump told reporters when asked to give his two cents. The South Chicago facility — with a construction cost of $850 million — is also the most expensive presidential center ever. It sits on 19 acres of land (purchased for $10) and it’s equipped with a library, a basketball court, a playground, a cafeteria and a museum. Hell, the only thang missing is Warden Hazen, Paul Crewe and tranny cheerleaders.

To compound matters, many workers and contractors have yet to get paid. Mike Owen, owner of Adamson Plumbing, said the Obamas owe him $4 million for services rendered. “That is a hole that no subcontractor, small business can survive,” Mike told reporters. Omar Shareef, president of the African American Contractors Association, said his contractors are owed money but they can’t bitch and complain because they signed nondisclosure agreements.

“I’ve never seen this happen since I’ve been in business,” Omar vented.

The building does look nice, but the fact doesn’t matter that they’re not paying our damn contractors.”

Yes, the Obama Center was financed through private donations. But taxpayers are still on the hook for $224 million in infrastructure expenditures — we’re talkin’ road configurations, utility relocations, etc. — because Barack’s endowment fund (with a target of $430 million) contains a measly $1 million in cash deposits. Not to mention subsequent gentrification has led to rent spikes up to 43 percent — forcing low-income families to move. And home values have skyrocketed, resulting in property tax increases.

Traffic and parking are also a bitch as the center is expected to bring in a million visitors per year to a quiet residential area.

Residents are pissed, mainly because — while in office — Barack busted his ass for gays 🌈 while taking a dump 💩 on the black community.

“We didn’t ask for this at all,” said civic leader Patricia Easley.

“And now we have it, America. A big rock that contributes nothing to anybody but himself.”
