ROSWELL — The NFL community is grieving after former Denver Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas dropped dead Thursday night inside his home in Roswell, Georgia. He was only 33. Thomas would’ve turned 34 on Christmas. Coroners said his quietus was tied to a medical issue but they wouldn’t specify what. Now rumor has it Thomas suffered from CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) and there’s scuttlebutt of suicide. A close source also claims he’s fully vaccinated. Thomas was selected 22nd overall by the Broncos in the 2010 NFL Draft. He helped Peyton Manning and the donkeys win Super Bowl 50 in 2016. He also made five Pro Bowls in nine seasons. Thomas posted a video in June to announce his retirement. “I’m Demaryius Thomas. I finally came to a decision to hang it up,” he said. “I’m going to retire and I’m going to retire a Denver Bronco … I’m done and I did well.”

Quondam teammates and coaches took to social media to transmit their condolences. Broncos wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni tweeted, “I’m so sad … I’m heartbroken. I’m at a total loss. I’m sick … I’m crying I’m just … I don’t know. The Azzanni family will always love you DT. I’m blessed to have known you. RIP #88.” Retired defensive end DeMarcus Ware shared a photo of himself and Thomas with the caption “heartbroken” while Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall posted “Love forever bro.”

Thomas’ incredible métier includes 724 receptions for 9,763 yards and 63 touchdowns.

  1. Damn love or hate the player he didn’t deserve this rip my thoughts and prayers to his family

  2. Strong powerful athletes don’t just die of heart failure but they do these days and take a wild guess what it might have been.

  3. Loved watching him and Manning together, as a huge broncos fan that was a good time as a young kid being a fan😢 RIP Demaryius ur forever a broncos legend and a champion, one of my favorites of all time who won’t be forgotten🙏❤️

  4. Bro what happened?!?! I saw this, he was 33!! What the heck?! I hate to say this but I think this was either suicide (CTE) or some medical condition he was dealing with privately like cancer.

    RIP, smh.

  5. Damn bro…rip homie. I’ll pour one out for you this weekend ese 👍.

  6. I’m a chiefs fan but this breaks my heart! RIP DT. My prayers are with him and his family and all the fans who loved him.

  7. 33 year old, world-class dominant athlete and he just dies. at the age of 33.
No one wants to say it, but I think we all know what happened. This BS about “medical issue”
    Yeah F-n Right.

  8. So many ” died Suddenly ” stories are showing up.
    Usually heart problems.
    RIP young man.

  9. Get right with our lord an savior 🙏 repent.. death is real. get right with christ rest in peace. We living in some troubling times put god first not too late..have a blessed day..

  10. Vaccine.

Yeah some type of medical issue. Try the “adverse reactions to the vaccine” for $100, Alex.

  11. Common theme amongst all these “sudden deaths” is they had all been poked.

  12. He died one of three ways his mother was ex-commuted by Obama so is possible he had to repay his debt they got him at 33. 🤔Masonic symbolism.
Or he got into an accident 2019 and he suffered a seizure that’s related to that accident. Or it was the vaccine

  13. If there is even a 1% chance the jab killed him, it should be investigated. How many more must needlessly die before the investigations start? When more young athletes are dying than old rock stars, we got a very serious problem. VERY FLIPPIN SERIOUS !!!!

  14. @John Doe: EXACTLY!! Totally agree but people have their heads in the sand and just don’t want to believe… The first thing they say is “I’ve had it…nothing happened to me. So since I’m okay, it’s not happening to others either.” Crazy logic! They have no explanation for 180 fifa players gone in six months.

  15. DT was the epitome of what NFL players should be. Not just immensely talented, but so humble and giving of his time and energy.
He was always present at his teammates’ charity functions, as well as championing his own causes. He always loved the Broncos fans, even though the Broncos did him wrong.

By all indications, DT really was a better human being than he was a Wide Receiver.

  16. Lot of young healthy athletes “dying suddenly ” for the first time in history…. wonder why?

  17. He’ll have a seat next to god. His highlight reel is as impressive as any other wideout too. The man lived a good life. He will be missed.

  18. World class athletes do not just die . utter fucking garbage ! ” heart problems have gone through the roof in young and old ,fit and strong ? up 60% and rising i know because i study these figures ! vaccine 💉..damage deny it all you want !..how many will die before you confront the truth ? i am a very pissed off NFL fan 😡
