ARLINGTON — “🎵For the love of money (People will steal from their mother). For the love of money (People will rob their own brother).🎵” Residents of Arlington, Texas are in mourning after 37-year-old T’mone Michelle Williams deleted her baby daddy, 37-year-old William Todd Austin, before blowing her own brains out. The murder-suicide transpired on July 11, 2025 at the Salon and Spa Galleria in the 7800 block of S. Cooper Street. According to reports, William was sedentary in the barber’s chair — getting a haircut when T’mone barged in with a gun and opened fire — striking him multiple times. Customers and employees descried the shooting. “Somebody came in and shot a client,” recounted a barber. “Lord, just let me get out of here,” said a patron. T’mone egressed the barbershop and tried to flee. But she ran back inside when she saw officers coming. She shot herself seconds later. “We were just all scared, and we didn’t know what to think,” said Zeinab Elghoul, who works nearby.
We were just all hiding and wanting it to be over.”
Scuttlebutt has it William purloined most of T’mone’s mazuma, causing her to snap. She was not only the breadwinner, she’s the mother of one of his 9 children. T’mone used her savings to help William start his credit repair business. But he wasn’t satisfied. So, when T’mone went to Las Vegas for a weekend getaway, William cleaned out her bank account — stealing roughly $500,000.
T’mone returned home and blew a gasket.
She could no longer afford to pay her mortgage and her Tesla started having mechanical problems.
To add insult to destitution, William taunted T’mone — talked a bunch of sh*t 💩 — and that proved to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.
