Tyler Perry’s ‘Finding Joy’ kinda cheesy and boring

Tyler Perry’s Hallmark romance “Finding Joy” ain’t joyful. As a matter of fact, it’s cheesy and boring.

  1. Great. Now Tyler Perry is jumping on the “erase the black man” train. The media does it. I guess he wants to, also. What happened to BLACK LOVE? Brothers….NOTHING beats a SISTER. Sisters…NOTHING beats a BROTHER. PROUD to be BLACK and I LOVE BLACK, and other women of color. Let’s get back to being who we are and stop looking towards those who hate us, for love. Nuff said.

  2. @Andre Fitzpatrick: Tyler Perry clapped a white man’s cheeks. Now he’s getting sued for sexual assault. He loves swirling.

  3. Don’t watch this shit. It’s a Christmas movie about a chick getting kidnapped and falling in love…lololol 😂😂😂😂

  4. The only thing about this movie is that this black woman was just as nice when she thought she had a white man and the brother who saved her life… she was afraid of him, she was talking down to him.. He should have let her drown.

  5. Damn if a man that looked like that kidnapped me, I wouldn’t complain 😂😅

  6. Tyler Perry continues to write some of the most STUPID AND SENSELESS movies ever ..he is a disgrace to the black writers of America…why don’t other writers help him…imagine a black girl in love with a white man who invites her home to meet his parents…to ask her to be the best man for his wedding to a white woman…then just so happens she saved by a handsome black guy living in the wilderness…I was hoping she drowned so the movie could finish early

  7. The movie was sooo good and sweet. What an amazing holiday movie❤

  8. Colorado again .. Really TP ( already did this with Why Did I Get Married)

  9. I kinda like this one. It’s romantic to see us fall in love with each other ❤

  10. A very dumb movie. TP did it again with more bad relationships, ignorant jokes, stupid plots, and ridiculous endings. TP try again because this movie was a grade F.

  11. Actually enjoyed this movie….not much of the TP foolishness 😂…the wigs were on point with this one!!!!

  12. Let me guess the lead character is a successful attorney trying to find life balance

  13. Tyler can’t make a movie without someone having a weed smoking problem! The friends were extra. We only needed the one friend like in Get Out, not both. Joy tried to move on too fast. That man could have been a serial killer on the run for all she knew but she gave up the goods. And her lack of reading the room skills is the reason why she couldn’t feel the vibe that she was giving off once she was “rescued” or about to be rescued.

  14. This movie had such great potential… I just wish Tyler had someone to review his movies before releasing bc a lot of things could’ve been fixed but I give the movie 6/10. The falling in the freezing lake was OD for me and we see Ridge and Colton knew each other

  15. This was one of Tyler Perry’s movies that I enjoyed. Didn’t understand why Joy was tolerating the mistreatment on the job and was delusional about where she stood with Colton.

  16. TYLER PERRY IS PROMOTING WHAT THE MOST HIGH FORBIDS IS INTERRACIAL RELATIONSHIPS AND MARRIAGES DEUTERONOMY 7:3-4 YOU WILL BE DESTROYED FOR IT IT IS INSTRUCTED THAT WE MARRY WITHIN OUR OWN NATION TOBIT 4:12-13 … 🕊️👑🕊️

  17. @Cherokee Simpson: I get your perspective. But interracial marriage in this movie are you referring to?

  18. I am a huge TP fan but, I do view him differently because the concept of “Finding Joy” was CLEARY taken from Lifetime’s “Sappy Holiday” from 2022.
Coincidentally, the main character is a beautiful young wonan named Joy with a crappie boss. She is coincidentally stuck in a snow storm on her way to meet her bf’s family. Then Joy is COINCIDENTALLY rescued by a stranger after her car accident.
The plot is some what different, but there are far too many similarities for me.
Someone please watch “Sappy Holiday” on Lifetime to judge for yourself.
