1. Starting with the title, it’s all wrong…..Madea is not getting married why call it her destination wedding? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️🤷

The only thing I’d say he could’ve changed or did better was reusing lines from his older plays but I get it the newer generation probably wouldn’t notice but someone who grew up watching mainly Madea plays and to this day still watches the older plays on repeat it was like Tyler you couldn’t come up with some original lines?

9. Tamela Mann/Cora is one of the worst actresses in history. In every scene with Madea, Bam and Cora it seemed like she was fumbling her lines and they were over talking her. Also, Tyler should have left the “my teenage son still loves coloring books” in Madea’s Big Happy Family play. That scenario was actually funny in the play.

11. When Madea, Mr Brown and Joe were charging things to the room, it reminded me of My Wife and Kids when they went to Hawaii and Claire went shopping and was charging things to the room, and when they were checking out, Michael got this looooooooong bill.

12. As a fan of the Madea movies not Tyler I found this to be just a talky ad for visiting the Atlantis. Didn’t hate it but scenes went on too long and it was clear he took the check and the vacation.

13. For context, Deborah was a crackhead because in Diary of a Mad Black Woman, she was one. Brian was taking care of the kids from them. I wish that they had tied that so people could see.

15. After “Boo 2”, I don’t think I’ve watched a Madea movie since, I’ve grieved the Madea of yesteryear, and have accepted that these movies have become the new Ernest P. Worrell collection for the black community. For someone who was watching Madea since I was literally 6 years old, yes; The plays and movies have always been corny, but they had a seriousness to where it all seemed authentic and had some thought and time placed into the storyline. Now, as a 30 year old, I cannot subject myself with the torture of these renditions of “Madea’s Playhouse”. I’m just waiting on Madea to go to space or start time traveling at this point.

22. I got confused towards the end. They kept saying Debra didn’t have a pre-nup. Which means she should have been able to get some alimony. But they were saying the million dollar deals for the kids was made because she didn’t have pre-nup.

25. Deborah & Tiffany character’s were in the last Sequel from Madea’s Halloween if anyone remembers…

26. The woman who played Debra in this movie played her in another Madea movie. The actresses who played Tiffany has played Tiffany in Madea’s Boo 1 and 2. And this movie was terrible! He needs to put Madea to rest. He had the Madea Farewell play years ago and should have stopped then.

27. What would you expect from a movie from Tyler Perry! He wrote it in one day and filmed it in 3 days. He knows his audience is mediocre

36. The problem with Tyler Perry is he has nobody to tell him no. He doesn’t have a writers room. That’s why his older movies were light years betters because he had a team of people. Also he got to the point he has been rich for a long time now, the hunger and grind is gone , his original stuff was him trying to get on. Now he can put out bullshit and he has an audience who will eat it up regardless of how terrible it is.

41. Its awful! I tuned out after the first 15 minutes! The formula is stale now! Homecoming was really funny! However, it’s time to hang up the dress and take off the wig Tyler!
