PASADENA — Comedian Deon Cole is under fire 🔥 after he delivered the cringiest prayer ever at the 57th NAACP Image Awards. The act of blasphemy transpired on February 28, 2026 at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. After yelling “F*ck ICE!” Deon exhorted homosexuality before poking fun at Brazilian Butt Lifts and people with Tourette Syndrome and he did it in Jesus’ name. “In the world today, a lot of people are going through a whole lot of stuff. They really are. And, they lack prayer,” Deon told the audience. “People need prayer in order to get through these times, right? So, I think here at the NAACP Awards, we need to pray for people that need prayer, alright? Y’all good with that? Alright, cool. Come on. Y’all gotta pray with me… Bow our heads. Let’s go. Lord, I want you to bless our sister Teyana Taylor. Keep her single and away from 6’3″ green-eyed men with muscles, lord. Give the average man a chance with her, lord. Hell, give the average woman a chance with her as well.”
“Lord, I want you to bless our brother 50 Cent,” Deon continued. “But that pettiness beginning our day going by fast at work, don’t it? You know what? Lord, bless him with some more petty ideas. Lord, that’ll help us at work. Lord, we want you to bless our sister Nicki Minaj. She’s been going through a lot lately, lord, and hasn’t been herself, lord. I believe whatever’s in her ass is affecting her brain, lord.
“Take it out her ass, lord. We bind that spirit in her ass, lord. And, oh yeah, lord, lord, lord. Deon, 54, suffered a savage beating on social media for mocking Jesus Christ.
One commenter wrote, “Galatians 6:7 states: ‘Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.'”
Another chimed in with, “There used to be a line people wouldn’t cross. But those lines are completely gone nowadays.”

The problem we’re having is that we are under the impression that we are living in what used to be a Christian nation. This has NEVER been a Christian nation. NEVER. The Bible clearly says that the whole world is lying under the power of the wicked one (1 John 5:19), That being said, how could there ever be a Christian nation set up in a system controlled entirely by Satan? This nation used to have people with better morals, true, but Satan is a roaring lion seeking to devour power in his great anger (1 Pet 5:8, Psalm 17:12, Prov 28:15). He has misguided people in EVERY nation, not just America (2 Cor 11:14). So, things have gone from bad to worse (2 Pet 2:20, 2 Tim 3:13, Mark 5:26). Don’t expect any more morality than what you are seeing because Bible prophecy says you won’t (Dan 2:44). PREACH GOD’S KINGDOM AS THE ONLY REMEDY FOR MAN’S PROBLEMS (Luke 4:43, Mark 1:14-15, Matthew 4:23 & 9:35, Luke 8:1, Luke 9:2, Matthew 10:7, Acts 8:12). This is what Jesus instructed, not teaching people to look for human interventions. Humans can’t govern themselves (Jer 10:23, Prov 20:24, Luke 6:39)

There’s a reason why Jesus Christ is always the butt of the joke. Satan works hard to make sure no other religion is mocked because that’s who he wants people to worship. As long as people aren’t worshipping Christ, Satan is happy. The world’s hatred of Christ confirms he is God, our Messiah. What other religious leader said what Jesus spoke in John 15:18 “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated before it hated you”. Look at the world today and its hatred of Jesus, but tolerant of every false prophet like Muhammad, Joseph Smith, Buddha and 4,000 other false prophet. Acts 15:30-31.
