LOS ANGELES — Uh-oh! Mark 9:43 says, “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. After all, it’s better to enter life crippled than to have two hands and go to hell🔥.” A viral video shows Lucifer in the “Shadow Man” video game conspiring with infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper in 1888 to create a stratagem to have our souls condemned as Armageddon approaches. However, to do so, Satan — who refers to himself as “Legion” — must ignite a zombie apocalypse to extirpate Christians prior to repentance. Jack was on the verge of suicide when that old serpent 🐍, the devil, showed up. “Stay your hand, Jack — and listen to what I have to say,” he said. “How did you find this place? Who are you?” Jack replied. “My name is Legion, for we are many. The immortal power that you seek does exist. It does, indeed, lie with the soul, but only within certain ones. Certain dark souls,” Legion said.

“What is it that you want from me?” Jack inquired. “You are an architect by trade, are you not?” Legion asked. “I am,” Jack countered. “Then I would have you build a cathedral to pain, a place where you and I and others like us may join together. A place of Asylum for all of the unique and misunderstood individuals that will follow you as the time of Armageddon approaches,” Legion explained.

And at the heart of Asylum, we shall construct a great, dark engine powered by souls of equal hue and we shall harness their power to create an immortal army to punish and cleanse this pathetic world.”

“And where might I build this cathedral of yours?” Jack asked.

“Across the veil, in the darkness, amongst the restless spirits of those who have passed beyond. In the place known as ‘Deadside,'” Legion answered.

“Then, if I am to join you, I must die,” Jack bemoaned.

“It is prophecy. We cannot fail. For we are many,” Legion said.

“For we are many,” Jack repeated before stabbing himself to death.

“Amen to that,” Legion gloated.

Jack’s five “canonical” victims are: Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes, and Mary Jane Kelly.

Now he’s working in cahoots with Satan.

Will their evil plan come to fruition?

  18. I have the GOG version for PC, they rescued the game and well it’s on my collection now with a few pluses like soundtrack, images, and such. This game is disturbing and a masterpiece 👌🏻

  40. Probably the strongest adventure of the late ’90-s, regarding atmosphere. The Legion is a ridiculously twisted boss! Gotta love him 🙂 And Mike, the most badass, yet human protagonist in gaming history

  44. This was a highly nostalgic game, much like Legacy of Kain and Project Zero, but both this and Project Zero were the ones that got under my skin something awful.
    For project zero it was the sheer unsettling ghosts that made you cry from lack of items and physical appearance, for Shadowman it was sometimes the loading screen with the fucked up teddy and other times it’s the objects and overall environment and feel. Never completed both.

  45. This game was scary as fuck when i played it back then, it had such a dark demented tone.
