LOS ANGELES — “đ”White girls, going through my mind. White girls, help me unwind. Don’t tell Minister Farrakhan. He don’t wanna know what’s going on. ‘Cause white girls won’t go away.đ”” Fellas, are you enamored with white chicks? Do you prefer a pink toe over a brown foot? Are you catching hell from family and friends for clapping vanilla cheeks? If so, we may have our answer why. A viral video shows “First Things First” co-host Chris Broussard elucidating why swirling negroes are infatuated with Caucasian nookie — aka Black Man’s Kryptonite. “Black women, generally, including the mothers that I’ve spoken to about it, they generally take it as an insult to them. Like, you chose the opposite of what I am,” Broussard explained during an appearance on the “Hardly Initiated” podcast. “But I think there’s a lot of reasons you see [black men with white women]. One, a lot of times the brothers go to a big time college, a white school, and a lot of times the white girls are throwing themselves at ’em.”
Broussard believes it’s also commonplace for black chicks to coddle Pookie & Ray Ray while shunning intelligent brothas in the process. “And, then there are situations where… a lot of brothers might have been nerds. They was smart. They were bookworms, right?” he said. “And sisters wasn’t feeling ’em… [saying], ‘You ain’t cool.’ They was after the cool brothers, the athletes and all of that.”
“Then, [the nerds] become successful and now sisters want them,” Broussard continued.
But, they like, ‘Oh, you wasn’t feeling me back in the day while these white girls were.”
Then, there’s the issue of skin pigmentation.
Because white chicks bear a strong resemblance to prepossessing redbones, many brothas figure if they can’t get a black chick, they’ll settle for a snow bunny đ° instead. “I also think that in our culture, it’s not all of us, but a good number of us, light skin and straight hair is considered superior,” Broussard said.
“Think about it. Any white girl is [light] and she got straight hair. Any one of them is going to look good. That’s why sometimes you see brothers with [unattractive white women] and you wonder, ‘Wow, why you do that?’ But, to him, she got straight hair and her skin is light… And so, I think it’s a combination of various things. I just think when you don’t date sisters [at all], that’s when it’s a problem.”
Social media reaction was wild.
One commenter wrote, “What black women donât understand is the moment they start talking loud, arguing or waving their qualifications in their manâs face, heâs already looking forward to sleeping with Celeste, Marisol, Becky or any woman who is the total opposite of her, just to get a peace of mind. This is a biological fact.”
Another chimed in with, “We don’t owe black women sh*tđ©. They don’t choose us when we poor. They call us broke niggas and dusty scrubs. They push us to white bitches.”
A third viewer added, “Black girls look so damn good though. Like, that melanin skin just hits way harder than whatever Becky got.”

#1 reason is the first thing Chris Broussard said. Most athletes go to PWIs (predominantly white institutions) so theyâre around white women. Me personally Iâve dated 1 white woman and every ex she had was black. Iâm not against interracial couples but I canât mess with a white woman who exclusively dates black men it makes me question their motives. Itâs just easier to connect with black women for me and thatâs why my wife is black.
I dated a few black girls when I was in my twenties. Skin like silk and a nitro temper that would frighten the devil himself.

In my experience with Sistaâs .. they have a very âignorant perceptionâ of black men, in general. A lot of that has to do with watching too much television (propaganda). The reality is, most of them like to play âRussian Rouletteđ„â with their chances of finding a GOOD brotha. Of course, until time catches u to them and life ends up gettinâ ROUGH because of things like, pregnancy, financial hardship, etc. THEN, all of sudden.. they want a GOOD black man. This is typical for ALOT of women, in general, not just black women. The GOOD GUYS truly do finish last. BUT, they also tend to get the LAST laugh. Black brothers and sisters don’t be so naive. You typically won’t see white men wanting to marry black women or white women wanting to marry a black man unless there’s a guaranteed potential of them being an college intellectual, high earning job or business owner or professional athlete and public figure. The whites are like scouts in college. True, usually in college because that’s when the scouting for the whites start with the black guys and ladies with promising futures who don’t get checked by their own which typically leaves the door open for the whites. Black men and women we have to look beyond the superficial and look at the diamond in the rough (not a build a man) someone who may be 6 out of 10 physically but 10 out of 10 in the mind, respect, protection, loving, caring, hard-working. I saw a video once with a black guy talking about why he dates white women. He said its not about colour, its about culture. He prefers white culture. He talked about things like his girlfriend’s family taking him hiking and how much he enjoyed it. They also went out for sushi which he also really enjoyed. Its funny but this stuff affects your quality of life.
Alot of black people are very possessive about what black culture is. Other black people like different things. There’s nothing wrong with that.

As a white man married to a black woman, I didnât choose a black woman over a white woman, I chose my wife over EVERY woman. I didnât choose her because sheâs black, everything that comes along with her heritage is an extra blessing, I chose her because of her beauty and her character.

Growing up I was constantly told I “act white”, mainly by black women. This is not a race issue though. I never liked rap music, which was a reason used by a black woman I tried to date as to why she would not date me. There is a cultural disconnect, and an unwillingness to bridge this gap. Ghetto culture, fatherlessness, all contributing factors. I did not have my father in my life growing up, but I still turned out a certain way that is not classified as “ghetto”, and it is noticeable. I longboard and go hiking for fun.

Whether you love him or not, Dr. Umar explained why some black men date only white women. But like Chris said, sometimes its the enviornment they grew up in. I see that with some of my gf and their sons, only dating or marrying white girls. I feel like if its genuine and authentic, then I dont have a problem with it. But some black guys marry or date for superficial reasons.
My wife is half Japanese, and I’m white. That wasn’t a conscious choice, I just thought she was hot and a good person.
I’ll only speak for myself but I love black women and have never dated a white girl. I don’t care what other brothas do because everyone has their own story. We have a family friend who is mixed. His black dad who got beat up every day in school being the only black kid in a Midwest town, told him when he was young that it is better to pass for white if you can so he wouldn’t have to deal with the racism he dealt with growing up.
It’s the trauma of the black american experience that’s under it all. We’ve been the persecuted underclass our whole existence, antithetical to whiteness. It manifests in different ways. And yes of course, some people just fall in love with the person, nothing to do with race at all.

I am a white woman married to an african-american man. We have experienced so much backlash from black women both overtly and covertly, because I “took one of theirs”, and I should stick with my own. I don’t think of my husband as a black man, but as a man. He is kind, strong, and thoughtful. A provider and protector. But most of all he is my best friend. I was previously married to a white man, and he to a black woman. Neither relationship worked out, and our friendship of many years ended up evolving into deep love based on mutual respect and admiration. Why can’t people just be allowed to love who they love and be left in peace? I am so over race coming into everything. People are people, no matter their heritage, nationality, or their culture.
Any American woman (white, black, asian, hispanic ,etc) will easily date ugly criminals and thug apes if the media kept shoving it down her throat. I grew up in the 90s and the NBA & rap music (2pac, Biggie, Jay-Z, DMX, Puffy, etc) were all the rage back then. It’s HUGE status to be a celebrity, even if you’re some ghetto creep. All women care about is if you’re rich, famous, and celebrated by the media. Then as I got older in the 2000s, movies kept pushing interracial couples between BM and non-BW gradually (Save the Last Dance, Training Day, O, The Animatrix, etc). It increased tenfold in the 2010s, every tv show, every ad, even adult/xxx films like ‘Blacked’ was all over the place. You literally couldn’t get away from it even if you tried it. The media brainwashes people, but women are far more susceptible to it and fall for the hype everytime.
For some Black men like me, it’s about proximity. I grew up in a mostly White and Latino middle-class neighborhood. The Black population in my area is very small, so there is not much to choose from. I dated White and Latino girls in high school and college, and many times they would approach me. I ended up marrying a White woman because she’s attractive and we have similar values, interests, and upbringings. Sometimes I feel guilty not being with a Black woman, but I am very happy and would not change a thing about my marriage.
