UPPER DARBY – The adventures of Pookiesha & Ray Ray continue. Destenee Green, 23, will spend some time in the slammer after she ran over her boyfriend because he pissed her off. The vehicular assault transpired on New Year’s Eve in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania — just 7 miles west of Philadelphia. It was also captured on video. Destenee and her dude had contretemps in a Taco Bell 🌮 parking lot. “Bitch, I told you to buy me a Chicken Chalupa Supreme!” the boyfriend reportedly yelled. As the quarrel intensified, homeboy egressed the car and walked away. “He got out of the vehicle, did the right thing, knew tempers were really flaring,” Upper Darby Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt told reporters. Rather than let things cool off, Destenee drove her 2019 Hyundai Elantra over the sidewalk and hit that n*gga — causing minor cuts and bruises.
Destenee struck a parked tow truck too, which mitigated the boyfriend’s injuries. “I just hear a crash and I look outside and he’s on the floor,” said 12-year-old Musa Hussain, who witnessed the crime from inside his father’s auto repair shop. “If we didn’t have this [tow] truck, he would have been not alive.” Bernhardt admitted there’s been a rise in domestic violence incidents in recent weeks.
That’s because mothaf*ckas tend to get stressed during the holiday season.
“Unfortunately, we’ve seen a lot of domestic violence incidents in the past month,” Bernhardt said.
“It’s a tough time of year. I’ve said it before, I ask everyone to take a deep breath. Stay calm, walk away.”
The boyfriend punched Destenee’s windshield prior to sauntering down the sidewalk.
Investigators believe that’s what caused her to snap.
Destenee is a popular hairstylist with no priors.
Her clients are shocked.
