CLEVELAND — The adventures of Pookiesha & Ray Ray continue. Dy’mond Vaden, 32, was thrown in the slammer after she Ctrl-Alt-Deleted her boyfriend, 32-year-old George Cox Jr., because he dumped her ass. The sanguinary ordeal transpired in November 2024 at their apartment in Cleveland, Ohio. But Dy’mond was recently sentenced. According to reports, George told Dy’mond he was sick and tired of her bullsh*t so he’s ending the relationship. A bout of contretemps ensued. Then soon as George went to sleep, Dy’mond grabbed a knife and stabbed him multiple times in the torso. Then she called her side dude, Emmanuel McQueen Jr., and they dumped the body in the Huron River. George was reported missing shortly thereafter. In May 2025, kayakers discovered George’s decomposed remains in a shallow marsh. He was wrapped in a fitted bed sheet bound with marine-style rope. After identifying the body, police checked George’s crib and found blood on the floor.
Forensic evidence, DNA and phone records tied Dy’mond and Emmanuel to the crime. Both were arrested by U.S. Marshals in July 2025. After being charged with murder, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse, Dy’mond copped a plea to get a lesser sentence of 20 to 25 years in prison. “Me and George had an up and down relationship,” Dy’mond told court members.
“It was good. It was bad. Not always perfect. But I am a person that is a loving and caring person. And one thing about me, I’m not a person that’s gonna hurt you for no reason or I’m not the type of person that just want to just bully you or just put you in harm’s way.”
