ST. LOUIS — Authorities in St. Louis, Missouri are investigating after a black female student pummeled a macilent white chick during a street brawl — leaving her with life-threatening injuries. The brutal attack transpired around 2:30 p.m. on March 8, 2024 near Hazelwood East High — a DEI school in Spanish Lake. It was also captured on video. Cell phone footage shows the black girl battering the white student before repeatedly slamming her head into the concrete. The victim, identified as Kaylee Gain, was rushed to the hospital where she remains in critical condition. Police said the 15-year-old assailant, identified as Maurnice DeClue, has been arrested. “Bullying and fighting in the community is an issue for which we all need to take ownership and work towards a resolution for the sake of our children,” the Hazelwood School District said in a statement.
“The Hazelwood School District offers our sincerest condolences to everyone involved, and will offer additional emotional support from our support and crisis team to those in need. We look forward to continuing to partner with our community for the sake of our children. Please be kind and respectful of the families involved during this difficult time and pledge to help work toward the betterment of our entire community.”
Social media reaction was vicious.
One commenter wrote, “The little experiment, hoping that these people will assimilate into a working civil society, has been a complete failure.”
Another viewer added, “Do something to protect white people, ASAP!”
Even if Kaylee survives, medical professionals said she suffered permanent brain damage.
So she’ll never be the same.
Maurnice will probably be charged as an adult.
“This evil and complete disregard for human life has no place in Missouri, or anywhere,” said Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey.
“The criminal should be charged and tried as an adult. If the victim dies, that offense should rise to a homicide.”
Because Kaylee threw the first punch, Maurnice is claiming self-defense.
They reportedly fought over a black dude Kaylee was dating.
Maurnice is an honor roll student who’s never been in trouble.
Kaylee, 16, and her crew are known for bullying and fighting other students.

at one point technically she was being jumped I saw a second girl come up and hit her from behind just before the skull cracking, so maybe she was thinking let me try to knock her out to defend against the second attacker I don’t think she was trying to break her skull I think she honestly thought it would just knock her out…. I saw one moment she seemed to pause and look at kaylees lifeless body and she seemed more concerned than any other person there for that split moment… but this is a case of keep your hands to yourself and choose your battles wisely unfortunately for the black girl she used excessive force but without training maybe she was unaware of the force she was capable of.
