HOUSTON — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Jalin Foreman, 27, was thrown in the slammer after he smoked his baby mama, 25-year-old Jalen Easterling, because she didn’t invite him to their oldest daughter’s birthday party 🎂. Instead, she had her new boyfriend join the celebration. The femicide transpired around 8:30 p.m. on September 12, 2024 in Houston, Texas. According to reports, Jalin showed up at Jalen’s townhome and said something to the effect of, “How you gone have that n*gga at the party but not invite me?” Contretemps ensued. After Jalen wouldn’t let him in, Jalin went to his white Chevy Tahoe and grabbed a gun. Then he fired shots at the front door — striking the twerking mother of two five times in the countenance. The boyfriend returned fire but missed. “He was angry. He was shouting and screaming,” Jalen’s friend, Felicia Adams, told reporters. “It was scary. My kids, they were terrified. I have a 5-year-old and she wouldn’t stop crying.”
Jalen, who was 10 weeks pregnant, died at the scene. Her two daughters (ages 4 and 6) witnessed the shooting. “Our suspect showed up and shots were fired from the door,” said Houston Police Lieutenant R. Willkens. “The female was struck… She went down and was deceased here.” Jalin sped off in a getaway attempt. But he turned himself in a few days later and was charged with murder.
It’ll be a while before he crashes another birthday party.
Social media reaction was fierce.
One commenter wrote, “The Father NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE PERIOD!!!!!”
