DETROIT — “🎵It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.🎵” Law enforcement officials in the Motor City are investigating after restaurant owner Mikey Brown was Ctrl-Alt-Deleted in cold blood. The sanguinary ordeal transpired around 4 a.m. on February 28, 2026 at the Suite 100 Lounge in Detroit, Michigan. According to reports, Mike was chillin’ outside the cocktail bar when a gun-wielding Pookie came out of nowhere and opened fire – striking the nightlife proprietor multiple times. When officers arrived, they found Mike’s cadaver sprawled out across the street. Two other people were also shot, but survived. There’s no suspects in custody and, because snitches get stitches, nobody’s talking. “The Detroit Police Department extends their condolences to the family and is asking the community for assistance with this incident,” Detroit Police Department Media Relations Director Jasmin Barmore said in a statement. “Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact DPD’s homicide unit or, they can submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers or Detroit Rewards TV.”
Mike, 52, owned several businesses — including Sloppy Chops on West McNichols Road and Sloppy Crab on East Jefferson. His parties were lit🔥, his steaks were yummo, and he proffered employment to destitute mofos. “He was just a staple in nightlife,” said close friend AJ Grant. “He made everybody who came feel welcome in the nightlife industry. He helped everybody around him.”
Mike’s brother, Myron Brown, echoed a homogeneous sentiment.
“My brother took care of a lot of people. He provided a lot of jobs,” he said.
“Now, I just ask that you guys help him out this one time and speak up.”
Sounds like somebody took out a contract on Mike.
Now police have to determine who benefits most from his demise.

Crime Stoppers’ Dan Bardino said if you give a tip, you won’t be ratted out.
“Over the last 6 years, we’ve taken in 42,000 anonymous tips, and not one of those tipsters has ever been identified,” he said.
