Smith, host of ESPN’s “First Take,” sounded the alarm Thursday morning when he insinuated there could be a federal probe into the bullying and maltreatment of Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. Stephen A. also issued a stern warning to the WNBA, saying President Donald Trump could lead the investigation. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Caitlin’s civil rights have been violated numerous times on the hardwood 🏀 — mainly because she’s a heterosexual white Christian in a league subjugated by negro lesbians. Not to mention Caitlin has several multi-million dollar endorsements (we’re talkin’ Nike, State Farm and Gatorade to name a few) and the rest of the WNBA is broke. Players are envious, and Caitlin is paying the price.
Case in point, Chennedy Carter got a flagrant 1 for hip-checking Caitlin after calling her a “bitch.” Diamond DeShields delivered a hard, shoulder-to-back foul for no damn reason. Marina Mabrey was assessed a flagrant 2 for a blindside shove that knocked Caitlin to the ground. The 23-year-old wunderkind has also been eye gouged and spit on. Stephen A. said enough is enough.
Something has to be done before Caitlin ends up in the hospital.
“This is something that do not be surprised that President Trump speaks on eventually,” Stephen A. told his co-hosts.
If that man decides this is something that can feed his base, that can ingratiate himself with that kind of audience that is protective of a Caitlin Clark… and they come to a conclusion that they believe she is being unfairly treated, that is going to be a problem for the WNBA.”
“Caitlin Clark is going to be politicized,” Stephen A. continued.
“It’s coming. I can smell it. Seventeen flagrant fouls have been called against people for beating up on Caitlin Clark. That’s practically double for what’s happened for any other player in the league.”
Social media reaction was fierce.
One commenter wrote, “To take the beating she did and still get rookie of the year and break 63 records is amazing.”
Another person added, “The worst part is refs are standing right there and no ejections.”
The WNBA, which loses money every year, is subsidized by the NBA.
Fans are so disgruntled, they’re throwing sex toys on the court – most notably dildos, vibrators and strap-on harnesses.
“It’s unacceptable,” WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert said during a recent appearance on Sportico Sports Business.
“I’m almost in my 40th year in business and unfortunately we get these kinds of acts and it’s totally unacceptable. These people are trading whatever notoriety they’re getting for a felony conviction.”

At any rate, the WNBA is responsible for player safety. At the very least they are in breach of not protecting caitlin clark on the court. By not taking action, they are directly responsible for creating a hostile and dangerous work environment. So much evidence against the refs and WNBA. They’re also angry at Sophie Cunningham because she won’t let their Rookie choice Paige Bueckers to be unguarded and stat pad. It’s a shame cause Paige is actually a good player and the special whistle undermines how good of a player she really is.

Those two girls that assaulted her Mabrey and Carter, again the ball wasn’t even in place so it’s not part of the game. It’s not part of the sport but more importantly there was zero punishment for either of them. Did they even get a fine because I know they didn’t get a suspension? And if I do that at my job being a teacher or being a lawyer, do you think there’s gonna be zero repercussions? Well I just come up behind somebody yell profanity and knock them on their ass?
Clark’s teammates are complicit in this mess. Their failure to step in when Clark is attacked has nothing to do with fear of alphabet soup bullies and all to do with fact the teammates have been instructed to stand down. Clark needs to get the heck out of this crap league and go play in Europe. Get out now before she is seriously injured by these goons.
Does anybody think there would be a lawsuit or an arrest if I was working at Walmart and one of my coworkers came up from behind me when I’m not looking yelled “bitch“ and then body checked me to the floor like Carter did or like Mabrey did? I get it. Yes you’re playing sports but it’s still a work environment and with those two was assault and completely out of the play of the game. The ball wasn’t even in play when those two did that so you can’t claim that it was part of the game because both of those plays the ball was out of bounds. The play was stopped and they just attacked her.
