LOS ANGELES — Luke 12:53 says, “They will be divided, father against son and son against father.” Coroners in Los Angeles County revealed the cause of quietus for Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele who were deleted by their son Nick on December 14th, saying the patricide-matricide stemmed from “multiple sharp force injuries.” In other words, their throats were slit. According to multiple reports, Rob and Michele were in the master bedroom snoozing when Nick barged in with a blade 🔪 and delivered his best Zorro impersonation. Then he checked into the Pierside Santa Monica hotel, leaving behind a sanguinary trail that was easy for cops to follow. When housekeepers entered Nick’s room, they found the shower “full of blood” and the window was covered with linens. Nick was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
The 32-year-old junkie appeared in court, but refused to enter a plea. When asked why he butchered his parents, Nick didn’t say sh*t. There was nothin’ but crickets. Dude looked demon possessed, like he was under some kind of mind control. Investigators said Rob and Nick had contretemps the preceding Saturday at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party. Witnesses said Nick was “tweaked out” when he reportedly yelled, “Dad, you’re a f*cking asshole!”
Man, we should’ve seen this coming.
During a 2016 interview with Access Hollywood, Nick — who’s schizophrenic — told his father, “You don’t want to set me off.”
Rob tried to laugh it off.
But, turns out, Nick meant every word.
Rob, 78, appeared in several films including “Throw Momma from the Train” (1987), “Sleepless in Seattle” (1993), “Bullets Over Broadway” (1994), and “The First Wives Club” (1996).
He also starred as Michael “Mike” Stivic on the CBS family sitcom “All in the Family” (1971-1979).
Rob made his directorial film debut in 1984 with “This Is Spinal Tap.”
He also directed “When Harry Met Sally” (1989), “Misery” (1990), “A Few Good Men” (1992) and many others

He was mentally ill AND a drug addict which is a HORRIBLE combination. Friends of Mrs. Reiner says weeks before they were deleted by their son, both parents were concerned he was doing drugs again.
They wanted him to check himself into Rehab, again, but Nick insisted he be able to stay home and receive help. Reports say he lived on their property in a separate unit but based on some of the neighbors’ accounts, Nick has been violent before.
This is where parents get it ALL wrong. He was 32 years old, not a child, had no wife, no children, hadn’t been able to have a lasting, loving relationship with a woman so he shouldn’t’ve had a say as to HOW he would attend Rehab.
The land of fruits and nuts you guys it’s no surprise that when you support some of these demonic agendas that you end up losing your life or something tragic happening to you!

No idea what his childhood traumas may have been, but from where I’m sitting it looks like his biggest issue was being a rich enabled (failed) nepo baby. He had access to treatments the average addict could NEVER afford, but he also had unlimited funds to buy drugs. Poor addicts get homelessness, jailtime & cold turkey withdrawal; rich ones get sent to $120,000 inpatient centers that offer yoga, massages & a beach view. The paradox is that jail works about as well as those nonsense private rehabs, if you survive it. People keep referencing “mental illness”: what was he diagnosed with? Or is it just because he has “creepy eyes”? Not all killers are mentally ill; almost all are terminally entitled. Dude lived on his parents’ property at the time of the murders. Regular people don’t HAVE “property”.
To deliver & hold a baby in your arms only to have them turn on you as an adult (whether under the influence or a mental episode) is truly tragic.

The vast majority of people who struggle with mental health do not kill people. Most people with mental illness are likable interesting people. It’s a personality disorder we are seeing here.

Now they say Nick had been previously diagnosed with schizophrenia and was taking meds that triggered violence. His actions at the party don’t seem like it is because of drug addiction but he appears to act like a madman.

Drug addiction should not be a excuse for murder . He knew what he was doing. He premeditated that murder . He was probly wanting money from them and they said no . So he killed them.
He should have been in a hospital for mentally ill people years ago. But as parents you try to help them as much as you possibly can. He was beyond help, he is sick and needs to be locked away.
