PRAIRIE VILLAGE — A white male student at Shawnee Mission East High School was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery after he pummeled a black female student for being… um, black. The attack transpired on November 15, 2023 inside the academic institution in Prairie Village, Kansas. It was also captured on video. Cell phone footage shows 15-year-old Brey’anna Brown having contretemps with a group of students in the hallway. Seconds later, the white boy called her a “nigger” then shoved her in the chest. A bout of fisticuffs ensued. Brey’anna suffered a broken nose then received a 5-day suspension compared to only 3 days for the white kid. Students rallied in protest. One person held up a sign that said, “Protect Black Women.” The white kid was charged with a hate crime. “I’m kind of upset about getting suspended because I defended myself, and they suspended me because I swung,” Brey’anna told reporters.
Her dad, Shaun Brown, was equally pissed. He couldn’t believe administrators failed to get his daughter treatment for her injuries. “That’s terrible,” Shaun vented. “I sent my daughter to be at that school to learn and feel protected. As a human, how can you stand there and look at a female student who has been brutalized by a male student and not get her medical attention? That says a lot.”
Social media reaction was venomous. One commenter wrote, “The leftist effort to divide Americans and pit them against each other based on skin color has been a great success.” Another chimed in with, “They will always attack black women because they know black men will do nothing.” A third viewer added, “Hitting a girl??? Who is raising this coward???”
The Johnson County NAACP has gotten involved.

Unless I’m missing something, he should be in much more trouble than her. He assaulted her first. We obviously don’t know the whole story, but in general the person who physically assaults someone is to blame. I’m sure I agree with his politics more than hers, but I can’t condone him assaulting her.

The continuous indoctrination and brainwashing of these children are creating divisions in society; they learn from their parents first and now the school second.

Something like this happened at my school I was one of only 3 black people going to the school one of the two black girls were walking down the hall when one guy started chanting white power while doing the Nazi salute unfortunately for him he didn’t see me ( me being one of the biggest kid in school)walking behind her so I decided to to make an example of him during lunch. Me and two friends walked up to the basketball team ( which he was a part of ) and proceeded to whoop they ass. Didn’t hear a peep from them after . I got suspended for a few days but my parents weren’t mad

Unfortunately, the intensity of racism has increased in America in recent years. Although some may disagree with me, I think George Floyd’s death and the ensuing riots which involved much violence, arson and looting stirred up anger in many non-black people against black folk, and I conjecture that this has gradually snowballed to the intense racism that we are experiencing today. However, hating a person just because they are black is one thing. I don’t condone hate but I get why people are infuriated. Looting and burning the best stores in town just because of Floyd was obviously unreasonable and overreach. Furthermore, most of those stores were white-owned. So, I totally get the resentment — and more so because many black leaders chose to remain silent rather than reprimand those atrocious actions of looting and arson. However, when you hurl racial slurs and physically assault a person just because of their race, then you’ve unfortunately overstepped and waded into the arena of criminality. The student who hurt this girl should be charged criminally and expelled from that school. That kind of harsh punishment is the only language that all kids understand, especially hooligans!

Our founding fathers crossed the ocean running from the church and the English crown. Most were not part of any church its why the Pilgrims came to America fleeing the English Church and crown.
