COLE COUNTY — When cheating on your girlfriend goes tragically wrong. Denita Jackson, a 27-year-old sprinter at HBCU Lincoln University, was thrown in the slammer after she butchered her boyfriend, fellow sprinter Kevaughn Goldson, for f*cking another woman. The act of Zorro transpired on February 23, 2026 at Denita’s off-campus apartment in Jefferson City, Missouri. According to reports, Denita came home early from work and caught Kevaughn in bed with her roommate. “Nigga, I’ll kill you!” she reportedly yelled before jumping on the mattress to kick his ass. The turbulent lovebirds ended up on the floor, where Kevaughn allegedly choked Denita. That’s when she grabbed a knife 🔪 from underneath the bed and stabbed the Jamaican track star in the back and chest. After Denita called 911, Kevaughn was transported to a nearby hospital.
But he was so f*cked up, doctors couldn’t do sh*t for him.
So, Kevaughn was flown by helicopter 🚁 to another medical facility where he died following surgery.
He was only 23.
Denita — an immigrant from Berbice, Guyana — was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. But she’s claiming self-defense even though she stabbed Kevaughn in the back. Lincoln University released the following statement: “Our thoughts are with family, friends, faculty, staff, and all who have been impacted by this tragic situation. The well-being of our University community is our greatest priority. Students and employees are reminded of counseling and other support services for those who need them.”
Investigators said Kevaughn and Denita have a history of domestic violence.
He was arrested multiple times for beating her ass, which resulted in a one year suspension from Lincoln.

How convenient she saw the knife under the bed with him holding her down and she got access to the knife under the bed while she was choking
I don’t believe her story. She grabbed the knife from the kitchen. She didn’t get the knife from under the bed. Her bed was unmade because the guy got out and went into the roommate’s room to discuss the cologne and that is why it was between them. Ms. Jackson acted out of jealousy! They were fully dressed.
But did she have bruises around her neck? This is a sad story. She should have walked away. I do not understand where the morals of these women go. I’m not saying that I would not be mad/upset. She should have walked away no matter what. She took someone’s life. It was not worth it. Her whole life is a mess. And his life is gone. Pure madness.
