NBA cancels ‘Magic City’ stripper night in Atlanta

NBA hatin’ on strippers/YouTube

Stripper night canceled.

Blog King, Mass Appeal

ATLANTA — “🎵I’m in love with a stripper.🎵” NBA Commissioner Adam Silver pissed off male fans this week when he canceled the “Magic City Monday” promotion featuring the Atlanta Hawks versus the Orlando Magic. That means no fat asses, no big titties, no clear stilettos and no lemon pepper wings. Rapper T.I. was supposed to perform at halftime. The NBA was about to get turnt up. Now it’s nothin’ more than a wet dream. It’s Silver’s contention that paying homage to the famous strip club would be a bad look for the NBA even though many of his players are regular customers. San Antonio Spurs center Luke Kornet echoed a homogeneous sentiment, saying celebrating Magic City “would reflect poorly on us as an NBA community, specifically in being complicit in the potential objectification and mistreatment of women in our society.”

Huh?

Objectification and mistreatment?

N*gga please.

Strippers are treated very well and they get hella cash💰, especially the prepossessing ones. A typical lap dance is $25 per song with a 4-track minimum. Strippers are well-compensated. Luke, quit simping. N*ggas like you are f*cking up my country. Social media reaction was priceless. One commenter wrote, “The NBA promotes gambling, liquor🍺 and gay pride🌈, but strippers are forbidden?”

Another chimed in with, “The cheerleaders dance and dress like strippers so what’s the difference? At least men get to see something heterosexual.”

A third person added, “Jerry Buss would’ve loved the idea😂.”

Do you agree with the cancellation of “Magic City Monday?”

Did Silver overstep his bounds?

  1. The league has betting sponsors but promoting magic city is a bridge too far

  2. Man I bet most of the sponsors who got a problem with it don’t mind children choosing their own gender at the age of 5

  3. Celebrating Lgbt night is ok. Celebrating Trans night is ok. Celebrating A night of straight sexuality being promoted, forbidden.

  4. They definitely shutdown Magic City Night. The NBA said,”We NOT doing that.” Atlanta Hawks talking about they disappointed but respect the decision. It should have never been a thought for a collaboration between Magic City and the NBA.

  5. This is nasty, what kind of disgusting mess is this ? They want children to look up to this ?
This is not for families this actually breaks up families.
This is what you think of women and young ladies ?

  6. The idea that a dirty filthy strip club where women with low self esteem shake their stank asses for money is ridiculous. What imbecile wanted to hold a promotional event associated with an NBA team there? It’s an embarrassment to all African Americans.

  7. Who’s still going to the strip club to waste money? If they want people to come to the game, lower the damn ticket price.

  8. Adam Silver is damn fool, why do you wait now to tell Atlanta Hawks owners to cancel Magic City night?Plus the idiotic NBA player who spoke out, have he ever been to Magic City?If not, shut up and do you research on the place.Magic City is celebrating 40 years so what’s the issue?Half the damn NBA,Hawks players love going to Magic City bet on that.

  9. What about the impact of pushing gambling every 30 seconds? Do you think that’s healthy for kids and families?
