KANSAS CITY — Here’s a public service story fo’ yo’ azz. Shanetta Bossell, 39, is facing a lifetime behind bars after she butchered Kansas City paramedic Graham Hoffman in the back of an ambulance. The fatal act of Zorro transpired on April 27, 2025, just four days after Shanetta bit a police officer who busted her for breaking into cars. According to reports, Shanetta was being transported to the hospital after suffering a large laceration on her finger. Graham was busy providing treatment to suppress the bleeding when a fight broke out. The driver of the ambulance heard him screaming for help, yelling “she has a knife!” Then he pulled over, opened the doors and heard Graham say, “She stabbed me in the heart.” Shanetta ran to the front, hopped into the driver’s seat and tried to start the engine until she was interrupted by police officers.

Then Shanetta ran around the ambulance in an attempt to escape. But it was to no avail. She was eventually arrested and charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. What’s sad is Shanetta bonded out two days after masticating the aforementioned cop on April 23, 2025 despite having multiple charges. Had the judge kept her in jail. Graham would still be alive.

Social media reaction was vicious.

One commenter wrote, “Graham Hoffman would still be here had the judge and prosecutors done their job by keeping her in jail!”

Another chimed in with, “Human bites are dirtier and worse than a dog bite. I doubt she brushed her teeth regularly.”

A third person added, “Another liberal judge who prioritizes criminals over law-abiding citizens. KCPD should have never put her in an ambulance without an officer riding with her. She should have been searched and handcuffed due to her pending assault charges.”

Did the judicial system fail Graham?

Should Shanetta be evaluated for mental health?

Should this be considered a hate crime?

After all, Graham is white and Shanetta is black.

  1. The usual Suspects / Culture. 13% of the entire US population and occupy 46% of the total US Prison population. Great Job America.

  2. The judge that turned this criminal back into general public should be looked at a bit more closely. We are tired of being put at deadly risk because the judicial system doesn’t seem capable of protecting we, the people.
RIP to a fine young man taken far too soon. Condolences to family, friend, coworkers, and all who knew him and know how diffent the world is without him.

  3. Screw her mental health evaluation. We know shes crazy. Lock her up and throw away the key, its all the drugs she does more than likely. Her family failed her, and she failed herself, and now she’s societies burden. Just keep her locked away. she’s better off in prison.

  4. I pray in the name of Jesus for the victim & family. The judge should be charged with accessory to murder.

  5. Now she’ll get three meals a day while in some sort of protective custody. For the rest of her life.

  6. This incident emphasizes the need for increased safety measures for first responders.
