TEMPLE — The adventures of Pookie & Ray Ray continue. Residents of Temple, Texas are in mourning after Britain Armstrong murdered his wife of 7 years, 36-year-old Jasmine Armstrong, before blowing his own brains out. The uxoricide-suicide transpired around 8 a.m. on March 23, 2024. According to multiple reports, Jasmine learned Britain was gay and confronted him — sparking contretemps. As the quarrel intensified, Britain pulled out a gun and opened fire — striking Jasmine multiple times. Then he fled like a lil bitch. When police officers arrived, they found Jasmine suffering from gunshot wounds. She eventually died at the scene. Moments later, officers spotted Britain’s vehicle and a police pursuit ensued. While speeding down I-35, he ended up crashing near mile marker 324. As police moved in to make an arrest, Britain killed himself.
The couple’s two children are now parentless and living with grandma.
Social media reaction was vicious. One commenter wrote, “I can clearly see that he’s gay without even knowing him.” Another chimed in with, “She HAD to know… off first sight, that boy looked zestier than Italian dressing.” A third person added, “HE LOOKED SWEET AS HELL.. IT’S IN HIS VOICE TOO!” Scuttlebutt has it Britain committed adultery with other men and he was mortified when Jasmine went through his phone and discovered his secret. Mr. Down-Low wanted his homosexuality to remain confidential.
Jasmine studied undergrad at Tuskegee University before receiving her MBA from Prairie View A&M.
Britain, 38, was a loser.
